Ik that this was 2 years ago but the reason the system was still gone is because if a malware already did a ton of damage and rewrites your system just like memz did then it doesn't reverse it, it can only get rid of the malware itself that causes it.

Well, the thing is, vmware is much faster then Vbox, I use vmware. I also use 4GB of ram and 2 cores. (P.S. My vms run off of the virtual drives on my SSD.)

@@sampon570 no its not lol all novices think that just because some pros say its the best HOME suite. NOT best antivirus. Kaspersky is banned from the US anyway so they arent the best anymore and they never were the best antivirus around. They lost major MAJOR threat intellegence sources from the US and other things CRUCIAL to the detection rates.

Sadly Kaspersky seems to be removing it's free plan soon, as far as I know I got a notification from it saying "your actual plan could loose support soon" and in the message it says "With the introduction of our newer security plans, your actual plan will be deleted gradually". Or maybe they are deleting it just from my region? (LATAM)

Offline, there is no way for the product to communicate with cloud, meaning that the engine and actual 0-day protection components have to do all the work without cloud signatures.

Thanx for answering my questions. I agree defender is okay for average user. But given how easily it can be disabled by malware and ransomware based on my own testing makes it a pain in the ass.
