I'm getting mine put back on after 16 years. They were long when I cut them off and I kept them. Pulled them out months ago lovingly washed them dried them and tied the cut ends with colored rubber bands. And now the day has arrived. I just turned 52 and I'm going for it. So excited. Thank you for this lovely x. It really is soothing to my nerves ❤c

In the black culture where it originated from locs are spiritual and don’t have to do with fashion or age it symbolizes our spirit of our ancestors and our eternal integrity and enlightenment of knowledge and wisdom this is why you shouldn’t take things from other cultures and try to adopt them because you will never know the meaning if your not involved with the people and the grassroots

I just did my own locs and found that one stuck out too much, so interlocked it a little and it made it a little too tight to my scalp. I crocheted it into place so I don't know how to fix it other than growing it out

i wish i could have shrunk and gone inside ur nose to take out the bug then when i was done i slide out of the nose landing on the palm of ur hand u realize it would be useful to keep me around u pace me on ur head ontop where i live until u need to get help for something inside u but to be fair the bug may have been a subscriber and yo shy to tell u and went in ur nose when it meant to land ontop of it or it just wanted facetime and cave exploring i hope my jokes about the reasons i thought the bug went inside u but i was not joking about wanting to go inside and get the bug out before it can delare sqwatters rights but how funny would be if u could charge the bug rent or charge for tours unside ur head using the nose to enter and exit

Been together for almost 20 years, since I was 20. I'm nerodivergent and can't handle fighting, so instead, we just talk it out as kindly as possible. He is not perfect, but as long as I can tell he is trying, that's all I can ask. I can honestly say that we love each other now more than ever. Blessings ❤

Hi, my name is Ann. My daughter got permanent dreads yesterday & looks amazing in them. After her seeing how good she looks with long dreadlocks down her back, she suggested to me, to get dreadlocks to. Ever since my mom (said to me) at the age of 15-16 years old, "Quit being (so vain). That's when I chopped the long hair off that I had. And ive NEVER been able to grow it since. Ive gone to short cuts, to buzzing it right down to my scalp to wearing wigs, and still my mom & dad weren't happy then. So, after my daughter got her hair done yesterday & mentioned to me about getting mine done I'm gonna go for it. However, I'll be 62 in January. Is that to old to get them?

Need video on how to resection. My hair is thinning at the hairline because the dreads are not sectioned correctly. All of my dreads are healthy EXCEPT the top & front which are 10-11. I took off my extensions because they are pulling and its thinning more & mire, dreads cant grow right. $2000 i paid & i have 56 dreads, 10 with no extensions & 46 beautiful. I dont know what to do. How do i resection without taking them all out in the top/front? Im wearing hats, scarfa daily to cover. Help me! I need new extensions as my 46 are disintegrating from a year & a half. I paid total $2800 & im hiding in my house out of embarrassment. I dont know what to do. I dont trust anyone now BUT dod write Eliza a message to see if she would do my hair. Its dark blonde/light brown after growing. I dont dye except roots. I need to get it back to blonde but dont know what to do.

Liza - just found your videos recently & wanted to say thanks for all the info! Also wanted to ask how you got the curl/shape to your dreads as seen in this video. Is that just from the texture of your extensions or a technique you used to the waves/curl/texture? Thanks in advance for the belated question.

Started my loc journey at 33 years old . 10 years later I still have them and love them and they are almost to my knees now. My two kids always tell people they have a hippy mom and their friends think my hair is cool. Never to late to start your journey!

So encouraging, thank you. I’m going to start locs by myself in about a month, and I was really nervous about the transition being horrible and taking two years like some people say, but yours seemed to look amazing from the beginning! I love your videos and seeing your style because it’s very close to mine!
