Dreadlock Care: Before They Leave

What a beautiful girl! I miss THIS you. Every item you use I use! So weird. I identify with you on a level that I get tears in my eyes. I have just started doing my own this past year after getting them installed a year & a half ago. I got permanent dreadlocks after wanting them for 25 years & I'm 42 years old. When I say this I choose my words very carefully; I paid $2,000 to get my permanent dreadlocks and extensions put in, in Connecticut. I first reached out to Liz K. to do them & she was booked so I ended up settling for someone else, not understanding what I should have been looking for.... and looking out for. At the end of the whole process the installation & maintenance, after 5 months I had spent $3,200 which I have every receipt for. I have seen her in a couple videos related to you & Liz. I know that it was a couple workshops. When I heard the term 'hippie' I was shocked to see her again in a video a couple months ago. There has to be some sort of talk or whispers about her because she is toxic. Liz & you both seem so kind, so I wish you two were aware. I started doing my own maintenance after taking a class online and they're really coming along but I constantly watch your videos to learn. You took a situation that I felt extremely bad about , & still do (so hurt) & without even knowing you have made a very big impact on me. So it has not been a total disaster because you've been there to help me.... Again without even knowing. I wish that I had a way to connect with you so that you can do my hair & help me because it hurts so bad when you can't get your dreadlocks right & they are so important to me. They have changed me as a person. I have simplified my life in so many ways. I work with people with dual diagnosis, mental health & addiction & now I am going over to working with kids with trauma. I got rid of so many material possessions & have even come to a point where I don't like cell phones & would really just like to simplify everything. I wanted to say thank you for doing your videos & inspiring me.

They look beautiful, can I just suggest though to check with your customers before you add all that; I have hyperosmia and if I received locs that smelled of lots of different scents, it would make me ill and I wouldn't be able to use them.

Ahh you are SO tempting me to add length to my locs! You make such beautiful extensions! I need to redo my lowest line across the back of my head it's currently combed out and braided so it doesn't decide to get married on me. Lol I'm throwing around adding a longer layer when I redo them. Decisions decisions!
