He doesn't give two shits about the future of his House, judging by the fact that he took the death of his trueborn son Domeric so calmly. And what's more, he brought Ramsay closer, which will clearly ruin the House of Bolton. He's not going to live long, by his own words, but for some reason he uses leeches to take care of his health. Although his age allows him to live to adulthood of his new heir, after all, Roose is only in his late forties. It is enough for him to live eighteen years, many other lords live to their 70s, this is not such an unattainable number. Then why would he trying to become the Warden of the North? Just for fun?

Maegor Targaryen didn't seem insane or mad. He was what the kingdoms needed to break the radical militant factions that were trying to corrupt it. He was cruel but not mad. It is likely that he was being poisoned by spies within his court.

Maybe GRRM felt like since his story became famous for unexpected main character deaths he felt to the need to have to keep it up, but he couldn’t afford to sacrifice any of the other POV characters yet, so he decided to build up another new character with exposition and a first person point of view, and maybe it served as a way to get a different perspective on the slave cities other than Dany, like what a regular westerosi would think about Meereen, and he also needed an outside perspective and view on Danaerys and her court that didn’t come from someone loyal or subservient to her. Idk maybe him dying like that will have a far reaching consequence we don’t see coming in the next book (if we ever get it) that will make the time in the books his actions and POV make way more sense

Why don’t you mention Uthor Underleafs personal sigil,he has possibly the most unique and ridiculous sigil in all the books and he’s a hedge knight, he’s just a really successful tourney knight so he’s not sleeping under the hedges, he purposefully doesn’t win the tourneys even tho he easily could with his extreme talent and experience, he’s just kind of hustler or tourney shark (like pool shark) who bets against himself in the later rounds or gets a rich lord to carry them through the tourney and make sure they win by taking out the fiercest best competitors himself then losing to the guy paying him in the finals or semi finals. I’d really love to learn more of his back story, I’d assume he’s from a lower house the smallest of lords or he’s from a landed knight family. You even used his sigil in the thumbnail I’m pretty sure you never mentioned it in the clip
