I've just now been able to watch this. I've grown to love your herd almost as much as my own! That was very beautiful and tasteful. Thank you for sharing her final moments with us. Remember, it's about QUALITY, not QUANTITY. You gave her a fabulous life full of joy and love. If i can help it, i hold them at the end, too. So no one dies alone. I don't know about you, but I'm ready for 2024 to be OVER!! (13 babies born at kidding, only 3 survived past 36 hours. Lost my foundation buck, my first "indoor" goatie best friend, JJ (born 2/2023), Uncle Pete died the day after JJ. Lost all 3 of my "survivors" from kidding 2024, and, as if I hadn't lost plenty enough this year, 2 of my 5 pregnant does aborted twins in the past week. Like I said.... Ready for 2024 to end.

Our Canada Post has been on a long strike! You would think they would change their contract time! So I have 3 gifts sitting in a factory and 3 grandchildren will not receive their Christmas Gifts in time! Makes me sick!

I received my soap in the time it was supposed to be.. But I'm shipping to a daughter in columbus tomorrow. I hope she gets it before Christmas, all homemade goodies .. But my opinion of Columbus is that the whole city is a CRAP SHOW .. WE DID 15 YEARS THERE, I seen enough of that mess

Thanks for the pics loved them. Shawn you can keep the cold & snow in Ohio. Here in Kansas we haven't been too cold yet. No snow in my neck of the woods. We will be 61° on Saturday. I'm with you, I don't think the fall babies are a good idea when it gets so cold there. It can't be the best for the moms or the kids. There's too much cuteness to comment on. Awesome to see the photos of the Zion Creek babes all grown up! I agree with you on not repeating the fall kidding next year considering the drop in production. I wonder if the girls actually drink a little less water (on average) in the cold months as compared to the warm months? Water consumption is a factor in the milk production of dairy animals. It would stand to reason that the cold would not entice the girls to drink like the warmer weather days make them consume more water. Thanks so much for a great video!
