Love the figure, but I was always a fan of a standing Baragon rather than crawling. I agree with you on the light features. Could do without it. Adding it does increase the price. Merry Christmas!

I'm also a big fan of the flat paint jobs on figures. Have you thought about a side by side comparison of G-1 from Super 7, SHMA & Hiya?

@@rluckenbach I have but I don’t necessarily collect articulated figures. I was really impressed with the initial proto pictures of this one so I wanted to give it a shot. But unfortunately the paint job didn’t live up to my expectations sadly.

Thanks for the info. Long time Godzilla collector here...took a break from collecting sofubi the past few years, but with Godzilla day/70th anniversary this past weekend I went down the rabbit hole again after looking at those Frog Tree figures solicited by Premium Bandai. I believe Frog Tree also was the designer behind this T-Base Space G. Man what gorgeous sculpts.

the 54 godzilla you have is the 3rd release. the first release comes in blue, and 2nd is orange. however the first release is not shown on medicom's website.

@@GloInTheDark I’m assuming you’re talking about the GMK Godzilla? So it just depends on how much you value whatever figure you’re looking for and how much you want it. That figure is limited because it’s only available at the convention and it’s a one day license to sell their products. Plus it’s not offering over here in the states. I have seen it for cheaper on Yahoo Japan if your versed in that form of shopping.

I got this used, but in great condition, unfortunately not the best original box and no tail stand but a really great price. I love this gigantic Shin figure so much, and especially the detail, color and pose, such an impressive Godzilla with its unique look and serious storytelling film from Toho, great film score too!

I just received my standard one and it's my first X-Plus figure so maybe I'm a bit bias with that, but I think it's just simply stunning. Currently have him standing at my desk at work and everyone that passes by it stops and looks him over and comments at how awesome he looks; so they must of done something something right with him. lol

And I collected figures here or there, but nothing to the level of X-Plus. Now that I have my first I can say I've fallen into a bit of a rabbit hole and want more for sure. lol

Also how do you think this scales with some of the other figures in your collection? I mean Ghidorah has always been bigger than Godzilla, but like would this scale with like a 30CM or is he a little too big for that scale?

@@SavageFitz07 he doesn’t really scale with anything that I have. Even with the Burning G that I have with is too big to match with Ghidorah. He’s too big for a 30cm figure but if you had like a 40cm then it would fit well.

@@SavageFitz07 super late reply but it scaled well with my x-plus godzilla which is 47 cm tall. It also scales well with Spiral Studio's own godzillas but imo the 2019 face paint is not as good as the x-plus one.
