No, no Fuji! I have fallen for the Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 “pancake” ten years ago and still love it. Also think it’s the most universal focal length (= 40mm FF equivalent) ever. The only drawback of this particular lens is the slow AF. With a fast AF, it would have been the best lens in my whole experience. I don’t know why I still after 40 years have a problem with 50mm (nifty-thrifty)… I bought a Leica 25mm MFT (50mm eq) recently to force me and try it yet another time but no. It won’t. But my favorite focal length is 30mm in MFT (60mm FF equivalent). Actually you can do almost all by just using a 40mm and a 60mm lens. Don’t you think?
@TheNegativeSpacePhotographer19 күн бұрын
Yes basically it’s Not about the Brand it’s about the focal length of 40mm or anything that is equivalent to a 40mm. I never tried 60mm but I definitely have to give it a try!

My opinion with moving up is that the 40 mp xt5 required a little more concentration to get the best out it of it..I found the Xt30-ii took great pictures quite quickly...if you want to surpass that camera in color and depth of field and focus...you will really need to slow down and work with the menus...I love the ergonomics ...and the look I have black model

Im sorry for the late response I wanted to take my time to get back with a good answer. I have a really slow workflow and for some of my work I take a single well planned photo. I have the X-T5 now for a bit over two months and the shutter count is at 423 even though I use it almost daily. For My workflow it´s nice to slow down but when I need to work faster it hold up pretty good. I really love the double digit XT line of cameras and for the trips, I´ve planned I really want an X-T30ii or X-T50 to have a smaller lighter but very capable camera. Keep Shooting!

A lot of creators purposely do this to be perceived as less professional & to signal 'authenticity' in their content, if it hasn't been mentioned already.

My favorite thing is actually people attaching lavs to random objects like wooden spoons and such. It’s funny. But also, with any mic, the closer you are, the louder you are, and to compensate you turn the gain down. Which means, background noise gets brought down, and you stay the same volume. Lav mics are tiny and portable, which is nice for run and gun shooting. But they’re also omnidirectional, which is less ideal if you wanna cut out background noise. That’s probably why holding lavs became common
@czerskip2 ай бұрын
What's actually infuriating are random youtubers telling people "do this, don't do that" etc like those were universal laws of physics rather than (more often than not) their nonsensical opinions and personal preferences.
@TheNegativeSpacePhotographer2 ай бұрын
You know this video isn’t meant to be taken seriously:) 🫡
@AlexDiazVideo2 ай бұрын
Sure I get it, lavs are to be concealed so they don't visually affect the shot. But then why are we staring at you with a ginormous Shure mic in your face, and hamburger patty headphones over your head with the cable running across you and your desk? I think it's because that's how you happily and comfortably create content, which is great. No need to yuck other people's yum especially when there's ton's of film makers feeling the need to gate keep youtubers saying what they are doing isn't making video. But love the cozy relaxed feel of the video, love the humor of the thinking spinning wheel, and appreciate it going into an audio tutorial. Keep on keeping on, and excited to see what you make next.
@homeboi8082 ай бұрын
The Shure mic is for podcasting/narration. For on-camera cinematic shots you want a boom/shotgun/lapel mic (real movies have almost all audio recorded in-studio, the actors dub over their on-set audio).
@TheNegativeSpacePhotographer2 ай бұрын
Thx dude the video is by no means ment to be taken serious. 🫡👌
@vivid_xyz2 ай бұрын
i think people hold up their Lavs because they think that makes them sound better. Same reason why people hold up their wired earpods remote control etc. Funnily enough, these people often still have terrible audio quality and could have much rather just used their phone as a recorder.

Here's little tip so you can get the most out of your footage :) Use your conversion lut at the end of your node tree and make all your contrast and color corrections before the lut node. This allows you to continue working on your log profile before the lut is applied, otherwise you are limited to the color space of the lut.

Literally not possible, why do people make these stupid videos. Firstly its not the camera its the film... secondly you can only get closer you can never recreate analog chemistry with computing. Third you are way off bass with your claim about a crop sensor flagship and dof. This is such a braindead video, no one wants all the shit metering options they want the film look. In all aspects (photo, video etc.) the vi is way better but at the time you may save some money when going for the v. It has no stabilization and a lower megapixel count but still a camera I would consider for some professional work. But if you want to get into video I recommend a camera with more options to rig it out or change lenses-> xt30 ii, xt50 or the xt4/5
