Yup! So many years ago, a photographer named Freeman Patterson showed (via film) the difference between keeping it on (outside) or not having it on. Even without direct sunlight, it did improve the contrast. I've used one all the time ever since.

@@TheNegativeSpacePhotographer - cool. When it comes to the arts, I'm a "snob". I pretty much only love the best. (But I never discourage people, everyone was not good to begin with!)

Love thr unique aspect ratio, a bit weird to watch on my 21:9 34" ultrawide, but i enjoyed it a lot on my ipad. Also i completely agree, lens hood stays on 99% of time. You earned yourself a subscription :)

That’s nice to hear 🙏 the next video will be in 16:9 or 17:9. the aspect ratio I want to film in is most of the time one of the first things I know. Thanks mate

I have ery nice polarisation filterrs for each lens but they dont fit with a lens hood :') I don't know what to do. What would you do?

If they have front thread buy a hood to screw onto them.

wait how? lense hods thread to the lenses body which is wider than the ø diameter, is it not?
@willem20995 ай бұрын
@@KishySou1597 My original nikon polarisation filters dont since they are the ones you can turn to change the effect. so it would not make sense to put a lenshood on a filter you would need to rotate specially with my wide angles.

@@willem2099 maybe look into a matte box if you want to carry it or carry a black piece of paper and hold it next to the lens. Did it sometimes when shooting on my fisheye lens :)

That’s my Fuji X-E 4 with the Fuji thumb and hand grip, Fuji 35mm f2 WR and a square lens hood as well as a black shutter button.

Please don't roast me for the rice the bag it was in to counter the moist air ripped and I'm concerned the dust will harm the images.

I keep mine all my wide lenses but taking them off my telephotos makes such a difference carrying them around. The 100-400 and 200-600 hoods are quite big.
@TheNegativeSpacePhotographer5 ай бұрын
Understandable and most of the times I can think of with bigger lenses I am in a more controlled environment or don’t move around that much.
