Why i don't have a popout menu when clicking trace bitmap

How did you get the first objects? The first blobs? How did you create them?

When i do the Fill and Stroke part, it just selects half of the entire map. Do you know why it is happening?

Thanks for the video. But... I am an older not very techy person and I need a super basic beginner video that goes much slower! I can not process what you are saying and doing fast enough. Any suggestions? For now I really just need the basics so I can design a business card. I already have my logo. Everyone says this is the best program to do this in but I am struggling. Good morning Rick. Thank you so much for learning me all the things I didn't know in Inkscape. I love Inkscape but now I need help please. I am making mandalas, but don't know how to get the ellipses tool to draw only one circle, haha! I know it sound stupid, but I really don't know. Please help.

Thank you for this tutorial. I am in need of some help though. In the Filter Editor window for the Watercolor Filter, under "Turbulence" I do not have or see the option "Base Frequency". All I have is(in Order) "Size" "Detail" "Seed" Also under "Displacement Map" I am missing the "Effect Parameters" option. I have: Scale X displacement Y displacement The version of Inkscape that I am using is 1.3.2. Hoping to see if you could help as to why I am missing some options. Is there a paid version of Inkscape? Is my version where they took off these options? Thanks!

Hi.When I convert images, there is a loss of color, this does not happen with Illustrator. When I zoom out, the contours appear badly and when I export it, this is clearly visible. How can I fix this?

Thanks for the instruction. Just the one I was looking for. What I intend to do is have a reference image and create linear line-art of the reference image. Finally i want to project the linear line-art onto a wall, and manually draw the lines on to the wall. Thanks Rick.

I really enjoy your tutorials. I do have a question for you about Preference settings for using Steps in Surface Repeat Patterns. I changed the Arrows move by to 1000 pxls and also the setting directly below that to 1000 pxls. when I put the second one back to 2.0000 I couldn't get the motif to mirror on the opposite corner of my 1000 pxl x 1000 pxl board. I need to know how to reset the settings. I hope You can help me solve this issue. Thank-you!🤔
