I have 3 different filters. I’ve never had a problem with pebbles or rain. That mesh screen is stronger than you realize. Also the turbo is 24” off the ground and tucked under the truck.

For anyone in the futures needing to take that tow controller area off; don't try and get the female side of the tabs, use two flatheads to pry the male side off the bottom. When I did it this way the cover rolled right off the module.

dammit...so i guess my gauge is bad. i swear aem has severely dissapointed me, two 340lph pumps were doa, aleready gone through two sensors and now the gauge is toast. they should just stick to making intakes at this point, not one aem product ive purchased has worked.

Thank you 🙏 this hi ram doesn’t leak, the gaskets were taken care of. The reason they leak is because the main gasket is not a solid loop, there’s a gap. These intakes are very popular with boosted Hemis and Ls engines.

My 03' 6.0 powerstroke can really use gears, Running a 8-inch lift on 38's with stock 3.73s It's surprisingly still rowdy as fuck down low, thanks to the powermax VGT turbo and 205/30s but it's causing a issue with my tq converter lockup and the truck lugs 65-70 highway cruise unless i turn off o/d. But at WOT is the real problem that 7000lb pig at around 95-100mph with the combination of its a Ford , procomp lift kit, the 38's and still rockin the 16's, worn out ballpoints, and a DIY at home front alignment, that rolling shitbox gets sketchy asfuck! Probably just step down to 35's instead. Its a lot cheaper and I'm tired of climbing in and falling off the truck even though im 6'5

Because I'm doing a rear mount on my LS Camaro. I bought almost everything few years back to do a front mount originally. including the identical 7875 .96 China choo choo you are running. Probably flip my hot section for more than what a rear mount setup cost. Without the headache moving the radiator, alternator, and keep my a/c. What size motor, pipe diameter are you running? Still running stock cats? What rpms is your boost threshold or coming on at? Thank You

Yes sir I’m close to NLV, I’d love to check out the powerstroke one day. I’m running 2.5 inch pipe and about 18” of 3” at the throttle body. The manifold is coming out of vacuum just a little under 1000rpm, after 1000rpm and at wot you can say “1 one thousand” and be at 15psi. But there’s other variables like cruising.

Did you get it tuned on race fuel then run pump on that tune? Almost looks similar to a NOS lean-out. Heat made the piston grow bigger than the cylinder walls!

Tuned on 91, stock pump, 650cc injectors and 13-15psi of boost. I pushed it too far. Now it has an MMX fuel pump, Holley high ram with fuel rails and 1200cc fic injectors. We’ll see what happens idk.

Turbo is over 24 inches off the ground and tucked under the truck. After a few years of rain, sand, snow, rocks and mud it’s perfectly fine.

Thank you 🙏, your engine build for boost and better performance should cost in between 5 and 10k depending on how far you take it. You’ll need a fuel system as well, that can cost in between 3 and 4k. Worth it if you love it, but you will need to swap the transmission also. Thats another 5 to 8k.
