My kids were so delighted when I pulled these out during our Over the Garden Wall party! They were so simple to make. I'm looking forward to using them year after year!

Great video, I learned so much from watching you stitch your pretty little needle book. Now I’ve got to get busy… But first I need to buy some thread. 🌼

Your stitches are beautiful, but you went so fast I couldn’t tell what you were doing. Too bad too sad for me. 🌼
@ALivelyHope22 сағат бұрын
Sorry it was too fast! You can try slowing down the playback speed on the video. Also, I have longer/slower videos on my channel explaining how to do most of the stitches 💕

How relaxing! But looks like it could be hard on the hands, though I’d love to try it. May I ask what needle you’re using here? I often see betweens mentioned for quilting but they look rather too stout to me.
@ALivelyHope2 ай бұрын
This is just a size 5 embroidery needle. I'm not too picky, but I have heard people really like milliner's needles because they are a bit longer and can fit a few more stitches at a time.
@suzisandpiper2 ай бұрын
@ALivelyHope thank you. I have both and will give them a try. I do love milliners needles, I use them as often as I can as they feel so comfortable.

Great ideas! I wish I had another name for your squiggly "worm" ones because worm doesn't appeal to me, but the concept and colors do🙂

I know! I'm not a fan of calling them "worms" either. I wish I could think of something else to call them. Let me know if you think of anything!

It’s much better if you weave in your ends as soon as you finish a block. I know it feels like a pain but I would never be able to sew them all in at once.
@ALivelyHope2 ай бұрын
I'm glad that works for you! I prefer to wait and weave in a whole bunch of them at once. 💕

These are adorable. For future reference, instead of covering up the heart or having a tiny piece on the front, that pc of felt could have been cut in half for one piece above and another below (two full closures) = front image not covered. Or a wrap around ribbon closure wd have worked too. Sometimes we get so set on what we have in mind we don’t consider other options.
@ALivelyHope2 ай бұрын
I love those ideas! Yes, I agree that I was probably too set on what I originally envisioned for this project that I didn't consider other options. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Thank you! I prefer to use wool or wool blend felt. Sharp scissors are very helpful as well! I love the colors and quality of the felt from Benzie Designs brand: www.amazon.com/stores/BenzieDesign/Homepage/page/7BE05895-25EF-44F2-8BC6-2E6DBAF7BBA7?ref_=cm_sw_r_apann_ast_store_E0CQS04XE03S4E9Z902S

where did you get the text that you water colored over? I've checked out your other videos and can't find it. I have horrible print/lettering skills! Did you print from your printer and transfer like you show on another video? Where did you find the fancy text to print it from your printer if that's how you did it?
