I wish students and teachers in any discipline listen to this discussion. It is an exemplary way of talking in a sane manner about an extremely sensitive subject which attracts more ignorant ranting rather than informed talk. Said is an important person to be read. So is Rushdie of course. Intellectuals such as these two and Chomsky are vital to prevent the complete displacement of dissenting voices

Recently, I a devote of “ as lived “ true crime stories, re-searched the names of the designers on line and found the following educational but entertaining : “ Guilty by Design” an Apple Podcast which recently premiered by the same two men that are principal characters in the RIV Narcotecture article as well as Guilty by Design podcast. It appears that years later Narcotecture has a true place in our vocabulary world wide.
