Mike's best Pro season was with the Jacksonville Bulls in the USFL in 1985. 1,364 yards rushing and 15 touchdowns despite missing 4 full games. Mikes best game as a Mauler was 146 yards against I believe the Washington Federals? His best game in Jacksonville he rushed for 200 and scored 4 TD's. Can't remember who that was against? He did make two Pro Bowls and was leading the league in Rushing in 1987 before the NFL strike. As I recall, at his average yards per game Mike would have rushed for over 1400 yards in 1987 if there had been a full NFL season. The strike and the 1989 contract renewal hold out after his second All-Pro season in 1988 were black marks. He might have had a very big year. Had a huge game against Dallas in 1990 for the Falcons rushing for I believe it was 165 yards? The most yards ever up to that time on a Jimmy Johnson coached NFL team.

83 - 84...they went down to my AC Vikings in Lakewood. The play of the game was Willie Glass meeting the two handed dunk of their 6-8 center with a two hand block. He might be right about the hate because he was COOKING us and then they stopped giving him the ball. The next year they blew us out for the title at the RAC.
