Call for Community Participation in Eastside High School Construction Committees

The Camden City School District invited students, staff, families, and community members to an important information session regarding Eastside High School’s swing space. The session took place on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM in the Eastside High School Gymnasium.
Starting in September 2024, Eastside High School staff and students will be ready to start the 2024-2025 school year at Cramer School, located at 2800 Mickle St, Camden, NJ 08105. This decision was made with careful consideration and in close collaboration with the Camden County Improvement Authority (CCIA) and the Schools Development Authority (SDA) to ensure that Cramer School is equipped and ready to serve as a welcoming and supportive environment for our staff and students during this transition period.
Attendees heard from Superintendent Katrina T. McCombs, Mayor Victor Carstarphen, esteemed alumni, community leaders, and board members about the latest updates and plans. This provided valuable opportunities for everyone to learn more about the swing space arrangements and the transition planning during the construction process.
