Hi Maaike lots of new things to play with 😂. I actually did find a new cool toned lipstick in the new Revlon shades - 811 laid-back lilac. On my ultra pale self it's a plum, but I think it will be a good cooler mauve for most people including yourself 😂. You know I am super picky with lip products, so if I am saying it's cool toned then it is. The GXVE lipbalm in OMG is a very pretty plum shade, but it's apparently plumping and those tend to irritate my lips so I can't wear it as much as I want to (they dry my lips out due to irritation 😢). The NYX line loud lipliner in fierce flirt is a good cool toned nude on me and goes well with UD backtalk, so it may well be mauve on other people like backtalk is. Best wishes x

Oooo! I'm excited to see so many lipsticks and hear your faves for lip liners. I too am new to lip liners and recognizing the benefit of them. Lol. So far I have tried one from Nyx and one from Elf. But I'm very interested in Kiko Milano. Also, I love a good vampy lip too in the fall and winter! 😊

Soo with the NYX Buttermelt blush, I definitely can just dip my brush and then put my brush to the back of my hand before it goes to my face. Lol. But I Love mine so much!! 😊 Also, Theresa at Theresa is Dead likes the bronzer in shade 2 and she has a fair/light skin tone also. She has mentioned she liked it better than shade 1. I haven't tried the bronzer yet. It's funny you say shade 1 is slightly yellow because another couple of creators I watch use it as more of a blush shade because they call it slightly rosy. Lol.

Hi Maaike I turn everything peachy, so it has to have a strong purple undertone to work on me😢. Within five minutes most supposedly "cool toned" lip colours change to orange/peach. Even if they say mauve, rose, pink or plum on the components. All the makeup counter assistants have been amazed at how much they change on me. Most brands when mixing pigment for lipstick includes a little yellow so it suits a wider audience and the yellow pulls everything orange. I have naturally a cool mauvey pink lip btw. The classic UD backtalk looks nude on me for reference. It has been incredibly challenging finding good cool tones for my lips that don't turn peachy and this prevents me buying untried (due to so many mistakes previously and unwearable shades given away). I wish that these looked more purple on you as that might indicate something that would work for me. You now know how cool toned I am IRL so I am not exaggerating 😂. Best wishes x

yea peripera constantly discontinues their shades (even popular ones) which made me stop using the brand because once i find a favorite color i just wear it every single day lol. also i find it veryyy drying, must need a bit of glossy topper or else lips have ugly dry deep lines even if i pre-moisturize before application and blot off. my current everyday go to is the lisa eldridge liquid velveteen ribbon (cool toned) applied as a stain (gradient darker center and fade outer applied thinly) after oily food there is still noticeable pigment left and it fades nicely and no harsh outer edge. and it doesn't ever dry my lips ever and doesn't require a topper. i would have to use a tissue and scrub several passes to get all the pigment off :)

Mann BBB is a brand that I actually was disappointed with in because I could not get the mattes to work for me. It sucked to declutter. But I am glad you're finding success with them, their color stories really are pretty. Also, that sucks about the Fantasy Cosmetica palette, I had my eye on that one. Love these round ups! 😊

Shellwe makeup looks beautiful and has some lovely color stories, but I can't understand why the high high price. Other indie brands have more colors in that price point.

Hi Maaike I only have a few things on my list this year and where possible seek out the best price. This year I am buying: Cosmic beauty Winter wonderland palette (a Xmas present from my partner to me😂) Dior forever glow foundation in shade 00 - it's a perfect shade match (incredibly rare to find) and I have found a way to make it work on my insanely dry skin ( the high alcohol content is the issue 😢). It's really pretty now I know to put the Revolution super base ( the dupe for Bobbi brown vitamin enriched face base) underneath. Stays on all day with no powder or setting spray. Zeroid oint cream x 2 - my new favourite daytime moisturiser for daytime Sephora eyeliner X2 - I really like them for tight lining. That's it. I already bought the Beauty bay smoky palette at half price ( the other part of my Xmas present 😂). Best wishes x

I so wanted to love the Victoria Beckham lipstick because I swear by the Chantecaille Lip Veils for when I don't want to wear a matte lipstick, and I assumed the formula would be similar. It isn't. On my lips, the VB lipstick went on greasy and slick, stayed that way, and then smeared onto my teeth and bled copiously around the lip line. Hugely expensive mistake and the formula was horrible. Chantecaille's Lip Veil in "Honeypot" doesn't necessarily give super pigmented coverage but on me it lasts very well, and is a perfect soft nude for a fair skin tone with rosy/blue undertones.

Would enjoy you doing your declutter by colour-story/similar shades. I haven't tried PML eyeshadows and probably won't due to the price point.

Also, the declutter idea of grouping the palettes by colorways would be great! 😊
