Hi Maaike I’m sorry some of the shades were off in the cushions- this can really impact how you feel about it. I just can’t order K beauty complexion products for that reason. The old Missha #13 was the right undertone but too dark for me and I had to mix it with white, so I’m apparently an #11 and nobody seems to do that shade (big surprise 😂). I enjoy eye, blush and lip products from there however. That was a generous package with the palettes and I hope you enjoy all the new things. Best wishes x

Wet'n'wild single shadow in Creme Brulee can be used for setting the eye primer. It's neutral, affordable and does a great job

I suspect you might have a warm undertone especially if you like lip colours with a lot of brown in them (e.g. meet me in Berlin, which is very warm and great on you). I'm a warm Autumn and those lip colours with a lot of brown look good on me too. I know it sounds crazy but I also have a paler skin colour skin and for a long time I thought I had a cool undertone as well.

Oh my i'm sorry the cushions didn't work for you ! I used a TirTir once but was in a white package, i have no idea if it is the same, but i liked it, i usually wear #21 in K-Beauty or Missha #23. My favourite cushion is Missha Moist Up one or something like that,they also have one super drying because asian people strugle with super oily skin !

I fell in love again with my inglot eyeshadows. few of them weren't working too well anymore, so I just carefully scratched their top layers off with an eyebrow spooly and now they are just as pigmented as they used to be 15 years ago. alsoooo u placed an order yesterday and I really can't wait for my new inglot colors to arrive 🥺😍

Maaike i don't believe you have many palettes for an youtuber ! I watch some who have collections for over 500 pallettes ! I believe you, Kelly Grooch , Jessica Braun( she declutters and don't receive PR anymore ) don't have much Makeup! You are able to test everything and i like you buy only something you know you like , don't mind the comments !

I don't think I have a #1 favorite palette, so many good ones came out. Today (because it changes daily lol) I'd say it's a tie between my Nomad Ireland, Blend Bunny Machina, Natasha Denona Okavango, and Sigma Cool Neutrals. I'm sure there's a couple more I could add. So many good ones have just come out over the last couple years. It's a bit insane.

That Chucky/Love palette is so rich in shades, I always love seeing it I'm been on a very low buy for a few years now, but I did pick up a palette on Ipsy shopper that was irresistibly priced: Ace Beaute's Classical Paradise, and it's such a gorgeous color story, with olives and golds and red/winey shades.

May I ask where you find Colour Pop in the Netherlands?

As you know, I'm not into blues, but I really like the muted blues in the Nomad palette. Not too fond of the colour story in their latest palette, unless it goes on a massive sale, I'll say it's a pass from me.

If you have the storage space and looking at your things makes you smile, who cares if you have many items? I have too.many blushes and keep buying them but looking at my little box where they stand all together divided by formula and colour makes me feel good. Every morning I pick and choose what I want to use that day. By the way I bought one of those liquid blushes from Apieu and I like it. Thanks for recommending.

Maaike, if you want to try a shampoo for dry hair that's very affordable, look to the cantu products (in kruitvat). They are formulated for corse, brittle, curly hair. So it has no nasty ingredients like sulfates, silicones and stuff, it cleans really well and it's very hydrating. Since I've changed my hair products to products for black people's hair, my overly processed hair is always nice and healthy. My skincare is mostly Geek and Gorgeous for vit C, retinal, Azaleic acid and peptides and K-beauty sunscreens, but since I have more oily to combo skin, I can hardly give you good recommendations. With the little caveat ; if you try K-beauty stuff, try something that's centella asciatica based since that ingredient does wonders for calming reactive skin!

The sunscreen you showed is not the same as the one you linked to, because it is not available anymore. The link is to the newer version "Uvmune 400 oil-control gel-cream", which is quite a different formulation, with the most modern filter 'Mexoryl 400', patented by l'oreal. I love love love this sunscreen, hope you'll like it too when you try it. It does contain a small amount of alcohol for spreadability and as a solvent, but I haven't found it to be drying.

Hi Maaike I’m someone who has incredibly reactive skin with both rosacea and eczema. I also have scalp eczema and dry/coarse/curly/wavy hair. I’m beyond dry😂 due to all these plus menopause. I have to use fragrance free skincare (face and body) and shampoo is also problematic. I can tolerate some scent in styling products but not near my scalp. For me K beauty was a revelation for skincare and I use a lot of hydrating products from that genre. I also like French pharmacy brands fragrance free products. There are some higher end items that I also really love eg Kate Somerville Delikate or Zelens😂. Lumene has a range of fragrance free products that work really well too and are readily available in Europe. Hydrating toner and essence has made a massive difference to my skin as I can apply liberally in layers due to the size (too expensive to do that with serum). My absolute favourite sunscreen is Ultrasun as it’s longwear and tested as the spf on the bottle after eight hours. It costs a bit more than LRP but for me the longwear aspect makes it more economical and easier to use with makeup (no need to reapply every two hours). Evy and P20 also offer this type of formula for info. Best wishes x

Best discovery this year was w7 cleansing balm, i usually buy it for only 6€ on Amazon. I use K-Beauty products for my skincare Cosrx, Some by Me , Kose liquid cleanser etc. My problem are Shampoos , i have to change them constantly i am prone to Dandruff and scalp eczema 😢. I have to alternate with special scalp creams and treatment shampoo from Ducray !

Normally my hair only likes expensive products. Now I like Olaplex. When I was in Holland last, I needed something cheap to use while I was there. I bought ANDRÉLON : OIL & CARE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER and was surprised I liked it and the smell. Greetings from Northern California.

I also really like the A313 and The Ordinary copper peptide serum. I need to look into that LRP mattifying sunscreen. I have combo skin and sunscreens tend to look/feel oily on me.
