Great information but a wider camera angle or more focus on the case would be appreciated.

Do you think this is a better bow than the paradigm?

I don't not. The Paradigm and Alaskan XT are much better options.

If you cut your arrows carbon to carbon 2” less than your draw length and use a half out……. You will get maximum efficiency and consistency out of them.

Look I’m not trying to nitpick this video, but there is nobody that’s shooting a 29 inch arrow that isn’t like a 31 inch draw, I would do more like a 27 1/2 inch arrow because I’m a 29 1/2 inch draw and my arrow is cut at 27 1/4 inches. So I would probably rethink what the average Archery shooting unless you want the arrow to be sticking out two or 3 inches. But if that’s what you’re looking for, then I’m not gonna stop you from living your life.

Also, just having the diameter of a spine isn’t going to recover quicker. The only way that’s gonna help with that, is obviously having a stiffer arrow or knowing where the weak part or the stiff part of the arrow is knowing where the arrow is paradoxing in the most efficient way that’s way more important than recovery. So whether it’s a 166 or 204 or 246 they’re all gonna recover the same.

My arrows are 29.125 carbon and I have 29" draw, actually set bow at 29.25, and insert is just at front of riser.

@@blakeperkins9288agreed. I think it's a bit of an old school mentality to shoot an arrow 1 inch or more longer than your DL. There's no need for it. If you have proper hand placement you won't cut yourself with a broadhead. My dl is 27 inches and my arrows are cut to 26 and I love the way they came out.

all my broken arrows have been 4 to 5 inchs from the front, never had an arrow broken at the insert, great selling point but a sales pitch

when using stainless inserts, its non hardening stainless, use hot melt, they bend on hard impact they will need to be removed. hardened aluminium work better, but lighter. stainless is over rated, for foc get brass

you can spine out a 200 arrow using a 350gr broadhead with a 100gr outsert, why ? some people think its better haha, note leave at max length to weaken the spin enough

Your build is very similar to mine. 28.5" draw length @ 75# 450 grains, 27.75" 300 spine RIP TKO arrow, 30 g Podium insert, 125gr point, AAE Max Stealth x3. Halo nocks. 290 fps chrono. I'm very happy with the setup.

I second that. My Lift works perfectly with the 5mm axis. The key is you don’t have the garbage half outs.

So 27 inch draw should not buy this bow?
@BetterOutdoorsarchery
@BetterOutdoorsarchery 17 күн бұрын
100% do not on a 27 inch draw. We have actually removed the option to order one under a 28in draw length due to the tuning issues that happens.

Had a hard case once, sold it and went to soft cases. So much easier to deal with, and they protect your bow just fine. Flying is another story.

I bought a 4214 for my Lift 33 and haven’t been happy with it since day one. My quiver can’t be on the bow while in the case and the quiver doesn’t fit in the space provided for the quiver. I may have to look into this new case. Thanks for the great video!

bow junkies like me that buy each generation lol. I wouldn't recommend it. Nobody on this planet including myself that own a traverse, v3 31, v3x33, phase4 33, and lift 33 could shoot one blind folded and tell the difference. The 85% mods that ship with the lifts are rough. All my bows have ABB platinum string and cables, 80% 29" mods, same draw length, poundage +/- half a pound. ATA and BH are in specs. The lift is advertised as much faster than them all but is 6 fps slower than my v3x33 and 4 fps slower than my phase4 33. Its a half a pound lighter though so pick your poison.

I've had my Lift 33 for about 2-weeks now. I had been shooting the V3X 33. When I shot the Lift, it was much quieter, held better and was faster in the Chrono than the V3X. Wondering what your opinions are between these 2 bows? Thanks! And great overview!

I’ve got 2 resurgence ld bows 1 for hunting and 1 set up for 3D and personally I like the single cams better. They’ve both tuned easy for me. I know they won’t be as fast as the new hybrid cams but I’m ok with the trade off. I do wished they were about 34 ata though

They finally took a step toward bring back the the 2016 BR 33, they just skimped on a few things like the hinge cable guard, gordon glass limbs, and a 7" brace and 335 IBO , everything else is almost the same.

Great in-depth review. Thanks for all of the honest feedback. I’m leaning really heavily toward this bow or the Whitetail Maxx as a replacement for my current bow (original Jennings Buckmaster). I just can’t bring myself to pay the price for the flagship bows, so one of these two new Bear models might be just the thing for me. It will undoubtedly be leaps and bounds better than my current bow. 😁
