mate, your progression is awesome! I started with freestyle but after riping 3 drones I realized while travelling is it just not doable, so now I'm doing mostly long range but seeing this vid I do miss this feeling of accomplishes after a successful new trick. keep it up!

It was awesome man! I think one day we were 14 pilots at the spot. It can get quite stressful because of the channels and people running around getting their quads back. And day 1 was full of rain, so limited flying. But overall the trip was great!

By the way: What's that really cool background with the props? It looks good.
@btastic_fpv7 күн бұрын
Thanks! It is a particle emitter. My wife made the prop in illustrator and I animated it with Davinci resolve. it takes quite a while to get the values right
@fpv-geek6 күн бұрын
@@btastic_fpv oha, so you animated all the props individually by hand? That must have been a lot of work.

First video where people can see you, right?😲Keep up the good work. And I still envy you for your bandos in NRW 😀
@btastic_fpv7 күн бұрын
Yea I was kinda hesitant at first since I never tried talking to a camera, but in the end I was quite happy with the results. Bandos are getting demolished here every year.. so we have only a handful left, unfortunately..

Mastering a musical instrument must feel similar to this. But this kind of footage makes witnessing the transformation from beginner to virtuoso on the sticks so much more pleasurable!

Haha thanks! I was kinda stupid? At first I wanted to go small, hence the whoop. Didn't like the stability of the whoop, so I got the 3.5", the 3.5" made me curious about the 5", and so there is that xd

@@btastic_fpv just got into the hobby, also crazy progress in a year, but I myself am stuck, fresh off the sim last week and the cetus x is really not giving me the power I need to rip fr, do you remember what parts you used for your 3.5 Or 5 inch build? Might help me get the power I need lol

Thanks so much Jacak! 🙏Thats true! I should have clarified that I was talking about beginners that get like 3-4 different quads and just mindlessly spend their money and never properly get used to their gear. 2-3 of the same quad is a must if you want to go hard. GGs bro!

Could you make a list of drones you used throughout this video?
@btastic_fpv11 күн бұрын
Sure. The 3.5" was a Babyhawk 2 HD, the first 5" was a Diatone Roma F5, and the bando build was described within the video at around 1:46. You can also check out my most recent video if you would like some more information about my gear and setup :)

@btastic_fpv awesome thanks. I'm looking to get into fpv. I'm still only on the Sim. But want to start researching now already for my first fpv drone. (budget friendly as I know I'm going to crash alot)
@btastic_fpv11 күн бұрын
@@abarairenji4483 Sounds great! Yea check out the video, then :) I think the setup I am using is quite affordable at around 330-350€ per drone and it is very sturdy. But you would have to build it yourself. If you dont want to build yourself, I think the options are at around 400-600€ per drone.

You became pretty good in that short amount of time. Really nice! How often do you fly? Do you practice a lot with sims? I want to fly since the first charpu clips but always been hesitant about it tho because I dont know if I can afford it. There are some little quads I was looking into like the lightning 2 walksnail as those L google are cheap and the batteries as well. Thinking about getting a radio and a sim for christmas and just start with that. Better late then never.
