@@anguismemes1666 What are you doing when you go out to fly? Do you just fly? Or are you paying attention to what you are doing good, and what you are not doing good? It helps to be self-critical about your flying. I hated that my flying looked "jittery" in the beginning, so I started to work on flying smoother. Then a few weeks later I compared my flying to some older footage. And if you keep doing this "basic" loop, of always checking your own footage and be critical about it, you will learn more and more, and get better eventually. If you just go out and fly without thinking about it too much, then you won't progress imo. Always look for something new to learn. Right now I am learning trippy rewind and trippy 8. So I go out and try that a few times every pack. Remember to always have fun though, if it feels like a chore, you will hate the hobby sooner or later

@GobbiFPV2 ай бұрын
The earlier you accept it, the quicker you get better." Den muss ich unbedingt mal in einem Video zu zitieren, der ist richtig gut, für alle die wirklich tief rein wollen in das Hobby ;)

wow..this is fantastic. I am hopefully going to follow your footsteps. I am waiting on a Pavo20 pro to try to learn with for a bit. I have several 5" quads to build (bought parts/etc over 2 year ago).. DJI and HDZero goggles.. motors, FCs, batteries, etc. Just haven't had the time. So now I am on a vendetta after having bought a DJI 4 min i pro.. to learn FPV and get my part 107.. for no other reason than to do it (the part 107). But I am building 3 7" drones too.. one is an old AOS frame 8 motor setup. Other is a Five33 long range FPV racing 7". Last is a StraHat FPV drone I bought as a kit to convert my BMPCC4K camera in to a naked camera in the frame to record 4K RAW footage. It's more a cinema FPV drone setup. BUT.. wont be flying any of those until I learn on the Pavo and then some 5" kits. I am hoping I can learn the stick controls.. I try in liftoff and I can barely fly it.. cant evern get thru the barn, etc without crashing and constantly struggle to try to do any sort of orbit or bank turns. Seems the controls are SUPER touchy. I plan on turning power WAY down and camera straight ahead initially to try to get some level of control before I add more power and tilt.

@btastic_fpv Thx bud, it's the Master 5 V2, and yes, the Dji fpv is made of glass!. It got me started and is a nice drone, but once I started flying manual it was very unforgiving. I rebuilt it several times, and the parts are expensive. The Speedy Bee is much easier to fly and for more robust. 👍

@btastic_fpv if you don't mind me asking a few questions. Did you race any at all, like tiny whoops or just stick to a 5" and loved it? Also the coach thing. How does that work? Never thought of it but I been flying solo for 6 months.
@btastic_fpv3 ай бұрын
@@joemredwine75 sure no worries. I did not race in real life. We only did some in the simulator for fun. I stick to 5inch freestyle. Getting coached means my friend m0v3 showed me how to do it. He watched me do it and gave me tips what I did wrong and how to do it properly. Hope that helps 🙏

aight. i'm inspired. I've been sitting on the edge of jumping into fpv drones. This video was delightful and clearly, i see how good you got and it only took 8:38, so i'm pretty sure i can get good at it too ;) I just got a career thing happen, and it feels appropriate to celebrate, so i can justify the expense of getting my first setup. And now i really like the idea of tracking myself this way. How much storage do you keep set aside for your flight video?
@btastic_fpv3 ай бұрын
Haha amazing. Thank you, glad you got inspired. Of course man! You can be a good pilot too. I am currently sitting at 1TB of footage. My home server has 21TB, so I'm good for a while. If you just save the recordings of the goggles, it might be less than 1TB in a year. I could also start deleting accidental recordings and recordings where nothing happened (turtling for example). If you're using an action cam, it also depends on the resolution. I record flight footage in 2.7K and stick cam in 1080p. 5 minutes in 2.7K is around 3gigs from my experience. Good luck on your journey, send me your 1 year progress video if you do one :)

Great video 💚 I started just after summer last year and as time got on I upgraded my stuff until I spent all my money on the DJI FPV and crashed it😢 but I left it a few months made more money and got myself a tinyhawk 2 freestyle and a radio master zorro so time to get back into now 💚💚💚

Amazing video bro. I'm two weeks in with my first fpv drone. yeah, throttle control is crazy difficult but important😮💨I found that practicing on a sim choosing a level that forces you to maintain a tight altitude. (liftoff-minus two) helped me tremendously.

Hell yea! Thats a good idea. In uncrashed you could even build your own maps to your liking. Keep at it, it will get easier!

so good dude! I just started too and I am stuck in Liftoff with shitty trigger control and crashes everywhere... I also bought a 5" Nazgul and am too scared to fly it yet hahah... excellent progress shown in this video, congrats dude 🎉🤘
@btastic_fpv3 ай бұрын
Thank you man 🙏. My first sim experience was quite the same! I had around 20h in the sim before I flew my little tiny whoop. It flies quite differently from the sim. That's why I went to the 3.5" almost immediately. Keep practicing until you feel confident, and then start slowly working on the real life flying. The Nazgul is a great drone and can take a beating. So don't be scared!
@DanFliesDrones3 ай бұрын
@@btastic_fpv Yeah I think maybe I should have started with a tiny whoop or a cinewhoop to get started but I ummed and ahhed so much I just decided to dive in! Will definitely do more sim practice before I take off with the Nazgul 😂
@btastic_fpv3 ай бұрын
@@DanFliesDrones In hindsight I could've started with a 3.5". I rarely fly the whoop anymore, so it just collects dust. So the Nazgul was definitely a good choice!

@@btastic_fpv I getcha! I was looking at the Cinebot25 here (Australia) but its 8-900$!!! And I have a mini 4 pro for cinematic stuff so I just thought fuckit, go hard or go home hahaha! Many crashes to come... LOL
@btastic_fpv3 ай бұрын
@@DanFliesDrones Holy smokes, thats alotta money. It is 600€ here. Also quite expensive. I'd suggest building my quad from the video. You can build it for around 350€. Not sure how much aussie dollars that is. Keep sending it!
