You need kelp and Dim! Very good to balance female hormones. I too had an ovary removed unfortunately. I wish I knew sooner to take those supplements that I now take to balance my hormones.

Thank you for sharing your story. I like that you're asking a lot of question and that you're trying to figure out the root cause of the issue rather than just accepting to get surgery and never ask questions again. Doctors know very little regarding the reasons why most diseases exist. Some people believe that endometriosis is an autoimmune disease. Personally, I do think a good place to start is to remove things that cause inflammation in your body such as by avoiding foods that cause inflammation, avoiding endocrine disruptors which happen to be all around us unfortunately such as in the Teflon that coats our cooking pans, in our detergents, bleach etc. Basically all of us humans are living in an environment we didn't evolve in. It's called a mismatch environment. Our bodies are not able to handle the weird synthetic foods and chemicals that we have invented and are now consuming. I know it might sound crazy but our bodies are designed to live in a paleolithic environment because this is how our prehistoric ancestors lived for millions of years before 12,000 years ago (before we invented agriculture). Humans still have a primitive body, yet we live in a world with foreign foods, with preservatives, microplastics and foreign substances all around us. Of course our bodies are going to freak out. Doctors do not get any nutritional training or any evolutionary anthropology training so they have no clue what a proper human diet should consist. Healthcare providers also have no clue why so many diseases are now present in our modern world. All they know is how to remove something that is diseased from our bodies or to give prescriptions. They never help people actually reverse any disease. Good luck with your health journey and please consider researching all the anti-nutrients that are found in plant-based foods especially in grains--they are super harmful even though this is counter to what most people think.

Are you in the US or Canada? Why did it take so long to get care?

I had the surgery around one month ago. the ovarian cyst reputed before the surgery and it caused appendicitis. I was scared before the surgery and I thought it’s super painful but the pain wasn’t as I imagined. The doctor gave me painkillers. I experienced symptoms of epidural anesthesia, but the symptoms of anesthesia vary from one person to another. Another thing to keep in mind is that after surgery, you will not be able to sit and stand on your own. Someone needs to help you each time. This will gradually get better over the next two weeks. Constipation is very likely after the surgery as well. In my experience, it will take 3 weeks to recover and feel like you are back to your normal life. Before of that, you will be just recovering. Take a lot of rest during that time, eat healthy and don’t stress yourself. After the surgery, you must take care of the wound and make sure it does not become infected. It is normal for the color of the wound to change over time, but if you notice any strange changes, you must talk to your doctor immediately. Try not to sneeze, cough or laugh after the surgery because it is painful and may lead to the wound opening. Stay healthy and safe girls ❤️

Well, feeling how it began to shrink and eventually disappear within 2 months was so liberating. I followed the steps I mentioned, and within the first 2 weeks the bloating was gone. I simply go'ogled Tilly Strankten's Ovarian Cyst Guide and it's like I hit the feel-good reset button lol.

Interesting, feeling how the bloating and pain receded within approximately two months made all the difference, I simply go’ogled the latest by Tilly Strankten and her Ovarian Cyst Guide and although it really took about 10 weeks for it to totally shrink and vanish I’ve never felt so light and relaxed.

So sorry you are having those downtimes. I struggle with cold weathers too. My brain really needs sunshine and enough of it for that matter. I almost thought I was alone. Being an indoors person and a loner, the depressive cycles are not fun at all. Worship music always lifts my spirit up. That plus getting to see what other creative (art) are doing on KZbin and Instagram. Anything that doesn't bring need me to take. Are of other people's needs. I thank God I don't really have trouble sleeping. I hope you feel better.
