Its so *rare* to find channels with that much interest in Perfect Dark, amazing video. Good to see another japanese box art appreciator out there. And you are quite right about the Chicago ghost, not because it wasn't manually included by the devs it means it can't be real. Halo 2 had a similar story, although more known and replicable, the Ghost Of Lockout. It obviously was never intended by Bungie for an imposibly good player to invade your private matches, specially because Halo famously never included NPCs in their PVP modes. Yet, if you managed to mess the campaign and the multiplayer right, you could cause AI to leak into the multiplayer, spawning an imposibly good player exclusively in Lockout. Digital ghosts have to be my favorite phenomenon in videogames.

I didn't know about something similar occurring in Halo 2, especially when it's confirmed real. I'm positive that at some point we'll find evidence of the Chicago ghost, but the thing is that nowadays not a lot of people play Perfect Dark. If the new Perfect Dark does well, it might get new players interested in the franchise, and maybe they will be the ones who'll get evidence of the ghost. Greetings, and thanks a lot for that info!

There needs to be a video covering hidden details that so many people don't know about such as Janus Guard( a random guard that joins you in co op somewhat more likely to happen). Scientist dialogue changes if been shot or destroyed computer or activated by yourself. Hover-copter will shoot rockets if you meet it at the rooftop. Also you can interrupt Cassandra if you shoot. In G5 Building if you sneak kill a guard between the gap the other will come and open the door for you. Most Carrington institute staff have names and the president name is Josh Clanton.

Amazing information. I wish I could've included those ones too, but I think the only way to do it now is to make a mash up iceberg of GoldenEye and Perfect Dark and include those and maybe a couple more.

I was lucky to play this game as a kid, but when my mom was about to buy me Conker's Bad Fur Day, the game advisor said he didn't recommend it (I was 11). I anyway convinced my mom to buy it for me a 2 years later (she laughed at the exploding heads and crazy violence). Greetings!

The funny thing about that malibu comic, i only had issue 2 back when, the infamous issue. Now i got issue 1 and 3 and missing 2. It was such a weird adaptation but I remember the MK comic was done pretty good by them. Sf2 is tops for me, it felt like every where you went there was a arcade of it. My only encounter with rainbow edition was a random gas station in the middle of the night in north texas. Never saw it again. But when you'd go to the big arcades after sf2 hit you'd always see a new fighting game. Well I did cause I'd go every other month type of thing. I miss those days.

The development of this game is fascinating, because there's no way anyone working on it could possibly predict just what kind of cultural phenomenon they were going to release onto the world. They were probably just aiming to dominate the arcades but then ended up changing the entire world forever.

This Street Fighter II video is so well done, so highly recommend that you continue along video game history as a theme over branching out. It’s too good for it to be lost in a mix of videos that seem to mix themes. You have a real knack for gaming lore and it would be a shame if you didn’t get the viewership you deserve. Just my opinion.

Something that was left out but that you need to know is that the Brazilian government wanted to tax the prize money given to Olympic medalists when they returned to Brazil. There was such a commotion in favor of the athletes that a few days later the government decided to go back on its decision and no longer tax the prizes. Here it became known as the "medal tax" Imagine being an Olympic champion and instead of your country's government congratulating you, it decides to charge you a fee for the gold medal, lol
@TheEisenBergExperience4 ай бұрын
Talking about the Olympics and taxes, let me tell you a story about the Mexico 1968 Olympics. To put it in a nutshell, the government decided to impose a temporary tax collection from car owners in the whole country since 1962 to finance the 1968 Olympics... To this day, the Mexican government hasn't removed that very tax...

@@TheEisenBergExperience Income tax was born this way too. It was a tax to help England in the Napoleonic wars and it ended up staying. It was later copied by other countries.
