How you count to be sure you got "all" drawings per spirograph used? I just buy a set and i try to figurite out. Maybe a simply answer can help me...

The spirograph sets come with a chart on the inside of the top cover that shows how many points you get with each ring/gear combination. There's a mathematical equation to work that out for any size wheel and ring and I'd made myself a spreadsheet for my home-made set :)

@@snarlla Okay. Thank you for this information.. This question comed to my mind after only watching several youtube spirograph-drawing video's (no explaining tutorials) and not using myself the spirograph device. Okay, the ring seems to mention the number, based on a mathematical equation. Yes, that seems to my very logic. Tomorrow I go for my first spriograph drawing 🙂😊

years go by and we are still restricted. The maker goes to 11.5 by 48. Print and cut should be the exact same. Devs for cricut must be high school interns. Also, they should really just add an actual scanner to "see" the image size. I wasnt exact with my placement of second page it stickers, cricut flipped out.

I switched to Silhouette years ago. I just kept this video up in case it was helpful to anyone who still uses Cricut, lol.

Leigh, I have 1 question. I have read thru all the comments and no one else asked this (I must be missing something). When you import graphic into DS, you don't "set" location to 0" 0", how is this doable without setting location to 0" 0"? Thanks very much for all your time and effort in producing these video's.

THIS HELPED and its much easier then all other tutorials, this merge button is great, I only needed to use few buttons there on the side to remove the node in the middle so I can actually merge, because it was an object not just a line

After making the wrap in template maker, it is not the correct size after just printing. Why is that?

I'm not sure. It has always matched for me. But the template program should give you the measurements on the file that it generates, and you can resize.

I am trying to make a template for a cup I got from Walmart but when I put the measurements and then take the file to inkscape it is over sized what do you suggest I change to get it back to the proper size?

The template maker should give you the measurements so you can just resize to exactly what the template says it should be

Hi Leigh...I'm going nuts trying to remove existing texts from an SVG, I purchased through Etsy. The text engraved great. But now I want to cut through the outer shape of this ornament without also cutting the text. Can I do this on Inkscape? Thank you.

this is a perfect machine, you know most of the rocket typewriter has scratches at the two back holes, and this one is unbelievably maintained in great condition. I just bought a rocket typewriter, costs me $250, and I believe this one in this video is worth a lot more than mine
