I'm not a big fan of games themed with existing IP, but I think it helps a bit in this case. It shows it's approachable for a younger audience. Mechanically, I like it. But I can't see far enough past the IP to see me purchasing it (at least for my family). But if it helps get more families interested in the hobby and around the table working together, I wish them the best. Thanks for the showcase!

The only thing the Klingon CCs missed was the terror increase after her KO in the corpse city, but it was made moot by the fact that Naveen escaped after.

naveen made a great point about the end game scoring cards....of course he sniped the one that gave him like 11vp...coincidently its essentially his victory margin....lol! as another content creator always says..."if a game has end game scoring, you should probably pay attention to it"

Thank you so much for this video. Some friends asked me to play with them on BGA and I feel so lost and overwhelmed. They said “straight to the fire!” And didn’t have a beginner mode or peaceful mode or anything. I was inching along while others were combo-ing and leaping ahead. This video gave me confidence to even attempt the game and gives me hope that I’ll really enjoy it after a few plays. Thank you ❤

A massively important tip which is missing - show by example! Learning new mechanics can be confusing, but demonstrating with clear examples really helps to accelerate learning. For example, I've seen countless people teach trick-taking card games such as The Crew, Hearts etc. without actually demonstrating what a trick looks like. People go in pretty confused. Instead, deal 2-3 cards to each person, open-hand, and easily demonstrate the key concepts of following suit, off-suit and so on.

The timer with the monster cards when you play against 3 monsters is so insanely hard to beat. I'm new to the game and have played a couple times, and the only way I can beat it is if I play only against two monsters. Wondering if it's easier to beat it if there's 3 people playing, so each one can tackle a specific monster... Great video as always! Love watching your playthroughs, you guys have made me buy so many games in the last year XD Two horrified games, two roll players, wyrmspan and flamecraft are all thanks to you!

I have heard them Murphy boys talking about "dry" games. I wasn't exactly sure what they meant. But yeah, hearing yall talk, I like dry games too. I actually prefer playing Everdell with regular cards and poker chips. That is how I play it, I boiled the game down to strictly mechanics.
