Is this an older edition of the game? I played it yesterday and the magician cards looked very differently... Naveens one was called "Red Lotos".

Hi guys and thanks for the video! I've just played it and I don't know if you could help me. It was a 4 player game, in 12:38 you explain that the same player can repeat the action space even though they have to put 2 meeples. How does it work for 4 or 5 players? I know that the spaces cost 1 meeple for the 2 first players, but I don't know if I can go twice first with one meeple or if I can go first with one meeple and the third with two meeples repeating the action. Can I repeat the action in the two examples mentioned? Thanks for your help!

It was a very helpful overview. I have to get the game because if it’s name of course! It doesn’t necessarily mean I will win the game but I’ll be able to say I helped.

Just bought this game and I'm really liking it. Thanks for the teach and playthrough. Very helpful! I like that you only see 18 of the cards each game. That means this game has lots of variation / replay ability. I also enjoy that no matter how well you think you plan your plays...they are often foiled. "Best laid plans...." Nice!

At 20 minutes, were the head-to-head rules changed when it comes to ties? I thought ties were broken in player order starting with the mission leader.

Thanks for the video! I always appreciate your content. Thanks to you both, I was able to learn Lacerda games and now own several. I had always thought they would be too much for us, but watching your teach and play-through video series of them helped me understand them so well. I bought Alchemists on sale and it sat unplayed for years, as I was intimidated by its complexity. I almost sold it unplayed, but then watched your teach and play-through, and felt confident enough to try it. My husband and I absolutely loved it. I also backed Darwin’s Journey after learning it from you two, Videos like this have also helped me discover games I might not have looked into, like Nimalia. These are just a few examples, but I wanted to mention how helpful your videos have been for me. Thanks! If you are ever in The Netherlands, let’s play some games! Now, on the topic of this video…Civolution looks so interesting, but we can barely fit Ark Nova on our table, so I know this one has no chance. I look forward to watching your coverage of the new South Tigris game, as we don’t own any from either series yet. I am most excited for the new Key series game from Richard Breese and David Turczi, Keyside; Black Forest, a game co-designed by Uwe Rosenberg that has been rumored for years; and the new 7 Wonders Duel with the Lord of the Rings re-theme and Tiny Epic Game of Thrones, both based on my love of the IPs. Oh, and Windmill Valley, because I have lived here for several years now, and love tulip season! I am sure there are others worth mentioning, but I am trying not to be tempted by more.

This is a nice game! The colors really draw your attention. It has beautiful artistry. The design and the mechanics seem tight and yet flowing. BGG says 2-4 players, but I hope that a solo variant is incorporated before the release. Thanks for an entertaining teach Monique. I enjoyed this one very much!

Really glad to finally see this. loving the color palette and seems like a nice tight *initial worker placement loop. but look forward to seeing all the variable locations are for the moon and how that affects gameplay as the game goes on. Thank you for the preview! Are you planning on dropping a playthrough video once the Kickstarter officially launches next week?

I've started getting inserts for a lot of my games. It's made Caverna and Hallertau so much easier to set-up. My latest acquisition is a plastic insert for Hamonies that cost more than the original game but, so what. That's why I make money.

So if the clue on Jane Davenant says she shares 0/2 clues with the Red Rose ladies, does that mean the shares 0 with one of them and 2 with the other? Or could she share 0 or 2 with both? Because if the first is the case, revealing the other red rose character gives a lot more information.

We love Wingspan but didn't like Wyrmspan at all. Wyrmspan is simply an overly convoluted version of Wingspan. The premise of the game and its naming conventions of the actions and pieces are intuative. Birds eat food. Apparently dragons eat gold bars, T bone steak, blue crystals and quart jars of milk. You 'lay' bird cards but you 'entice' dragons. Hmm... With Wingspan you enjoy the birds. With Wyrmspan it's 100% a clumsy logic game engine with zero immersion. In 100 years Wingspan will still be around. Wyrmspan is garage sale fodder.

I love the look of this. You mention that a two player would be quick due to each player having 12 turns. There are just 12 pawns, so regardless of player count, there are 24 turns per game. There will obviously be more AP as the board changes more between each individual's turn, but do you think this would increase the playtime significantly?

Great teach as always! Explaining this game so clearly in 30 minutes requires some skills. And I like the way Naveen keeps the teach 'honest' by ensuring the meeples are in place and all the points are accounted for :)
