Shitheads killed Trip. I will never understand why.

I really love this show. Just as much as i love TNG, Voyager, and DS9. But here's something really telling: I had the great opportunity to see the Star Trek exhibit at the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle some years back. An exhibit that filled two conplete floors with ST memorabilia and the object(s) that most filled me with emotion were the uniforms belonging to T'Pol and Captain Archer. I nearly cried in their presence. It was a very unusual reaction for me, but an honest (and human) one indeed. 🫡

I must not remember the show much. When did the wear suits like this?

TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyage, & Enterprise were gifts and did actually enrich many peoples lives. However the final episode of Enterprise I thought was a total disregard to Cast, Crew & Fans. Picard & Discovery were Ok and I certainly watched them and like them well enough but there was a little magic missing compared to the previous ST's Firefly was also another great series that became a causality that was cut to soon, though at least there was a movie to finish it.

I don't remember for sure what I thought about the song the first time I heard it. I think I was disappointed because it was not one of the established musical themes related to any of the other shows. I did eventually like it.

I suspect TNG material would be taken down within minutes. The powers that be seem far more protective of TNG given it’s popularity. Little ol’ Enterprise tends to fly under the radar, and frankly - I think there’s far more benefit to having these videos available than cost.

I really liked the episodes that Brannan hated. I think we weren't ready for the series at the time straight after the great Voyager series. Expectations were too high which prequels seldom can live up to. Compare it to modern Star trek, Enterprise was a very good show. Series 3 is one of my most favourite series of all Star Trek series for a number of reasons.
@christopherclarke3022 Жыл бұрын
We want either another season or a movie of for Enterprise while all the main cast are still drawing breath. They have done it with Picard, though Patrick is looking understandably a like frail. So before cast gets to old, it should be at least considered, assuming of course the old cast are happy to do it. Maybe the temporal war could be part of the plot. Yer I know high improbable it would happen but one can dream or wish can't they?

i don’t know why the studio had to mess with it. i love the first season. it is so Star Trek, for the most part. Peaceful exploration is the order. Get into bad situation try best to not kill things. For all the stereotypes about the original series that was what it was, hopeful. Didn’t need the 30th century. Certainly didn’t need yet another ridiculous time travel mess. Stupid studio. Having said that, still Enterprise is a good show and i liked Daniels. Archer was a great Captain

to be clear, since they DID have to do the studios bidding, they did a very good job. i still like the show

I'm still pissed they canceled this show . This is on Paramount and CBS. there are rumors of bringing this show back. I saw a interview with Bragna where he implied that. Cast members that were there said they had no idea and when asked If they would do it again they all said yes , sign me up. Of course Bradden said we would have to find a way to bring Trip back. The interview was a few years ago but who knows I never thought a Picard show with all of the next gen cast would happen.

What I am annoyed about is that Star Trek Online will not go back in time and do any missions from the NX-01 era and it has been asked many times, and I think this era would be great in that game to explore for a bit

Thanks for uploading these. It's been interesting to watch those who were there at the time give such a candid and honest insight into the show. It makes me feel as though I judged it far too harshly at the time and probably dismissed it without giving it a chance. I'm going to rewatch the entire series with a more open mind and a fresh perspective...and I'm honestly looking forward to it.

I have done the same as it's been repeated over here in the UK over the past few years. I think you'll appreciate it SO much more as my fuzzy memory only thought about the bad episodes, what I didn't like etc. but it's SO much better than I remember! Enjoy! 😁

I always found the Vulcan storylines boring. Better to have Augments, Mirror Universe, even Klingons.
@virginiaconnor8350 Жыл бұрын
I prefer a variety. I liked "TOS " first as my dad introduced me to it and while I liked "TNG"and "Voyager", a bit but not "DS9, I grew to prefer "Enterprise" to them. I do like "Strange New Worlds" and even "Picard" more than "Discovery". I wish the intro to "Enterprise" had the different videos for each season, but with the same music theme for all. The chrs., their photos or videos, and actors' names could've been displayed in the intro. Too bad a blooper or outtake related to the episode couldn't have been added at the end before the credits. Just my ideas if "Enterprise" could be continued for 3 more deserved seasons owed to the crew of the "Enterprise" for the way she was treated. Once I was able to watch "Enterprise" on cable TV-as UPN didn't come on too clearly at first-I was hooked (just like when my dad told me to watch "MFU" and "TOS")! Too bad I couldn't get him to watch "NCIS" but teasing and asking him why was Illya was now a medical examiner for 20 years? That was our bond before he died. We were secret agents and Trekkies! He was in Army Intelligence during WW2 and loved sci-fi, including "Star Trek".

@@virginiaconnor8350 Your Dad sounds like a man of good taste. Sorry for your loss. I believe yours is the popular opinion, especially as to the current shows. My narrow focus is not ideal for Star Trek which is broad concept. Vulcan storylines are long on dialogue and short on "show". My only true issues with TOS is the sound mixing, the music is too loud. Live Long and Prosper my friend.

Will not be the last. Anything with earning potential for a studio will likely be explored. Star Trek has to be high on their list. I'm sure writers realize this and have been "dreaming" up concepts.
