I loved the series and still watch my DVD's. Then when ST Enterprise was cancelled... "Battlestar Gallactica BSG" came along, and that show show blew me away! That was brilliant Sci Fi!

BSG is amazing! The episode called ‘33’ is one of the best hours of television I’ve ever seen.

I really liked the episodes that Brannan hated. I think we weren't ready for the series at the time straight after the great Voyager series. Expectations were too high which prequels seldom can live up to. Compare it to modern Star trek, Enterprise was a very good show. Series 3 is one of my most favourite series of all Star Trek series for a number of reasons.

Listening to them discuss this, I feel so sorry for the writers. They were really up against time and TPTB and doing their best, and any show takes time to develop, the story and characters are always different at the end to what they are at the beginning.

Every version after Enterprise was and is unwatchable except the episodes with Captain Pike and I can't even recall what that Series was titled.

100% agree. It’s Strange New Worlds. It’s far from perfect but at it actually feels like Star Trek. Star Trek Discovery and Picard are just insults. I rarely use the word hate, but I hate both of them with a passion.

I agree. And I love Enterprise with the exception of that song. My wife loves the song though, because she loves Rod Stewart and the singer sounds like Rod.

What they don't mention is that not everyone in the country had UPN available on their TV set to watch. I just had basic cable at the time and UPN wasn't in with that package. I didn't get to start watching until Scifi channel bought the show and it had maybe 3 months left before it ended. This probably hurt the show more than anything, being on an unavailable (to me and many others) network.

Same here. I think when they were looking at ratings, they failed to realize how many of us weren’t watching it…because we couldn’t. Like the original series, Enterprise was destined to thrive after cancellation.

They mention it in the documentaries for the other seasons. John Billingsly talks about having a lukewarm reception in a San Antonio convention, only to find out that the UPN affiliate there would often preempt the show with college sports - hence not a lot of people there watched it.

That's like almost every movie out there cuz if you go back in time you'll find it in black and white rewritten just a bit to make a twist but when you have a memory like mine you don't have to go back

I've been around since the 1st Roddenberry Star Trek..putting that one aside, Enterprise was the best of the rest, hands down. All of them had episodes that sucked, and none were immune to that.

Same here, and tbh I only like maybe 30% of TNG, about 50% of Voyager, but about 70-80% of DS9. Enterprise was very good, it didn’t have a lot of bad episodes and some that were very good.

I think Brannon is a little hard on the episodes that aren't up to standard. There are always some slow episodes or failed comedic efforts or the dreaded minor character development episodes. *other than Terra Nova* there are some entertaining parts in all the episodes he listed. He probably hasn't watched early TNG and TOS in a while. There are some clunkers in there. As many others have said here, the worst Enterprise is better than current insult shows that shall not be named. (Actually, I think Lower Decks is enjoyable and was done by people with real love for Trek. I imagine it as a cartoon from the Star Trek universe, and enjoy the ride.) But the other two abominations can rot.

I feel like Brannon is hard on himself in general in these interviews about the show. He always sounds like he has so much regret and not enough closure over that show.
