I just bought the game assuming there would be a tutorial. How silly of me! I can't believe you're expected to just figure it out as you go. The game is frustrating as hell as a beginner. An example; I finally managed to find out how to curve a road, then it took me forever to get 2 roads to run parallel with each other, then after all that, I realised both roads were going in the same direction and I have spent aaaages trying to figure out how to change the traffic direction on a one way road... I can't believe some in-game help hasn't been included. This video is great! But also serves to highlight just how much there is to learn if you want to enjoy playing it.

If you have a pawn jealous of another bedroom I think it’s cheaper just to swap them and prioritise the best beds to the pawns you need to be most productive

My problem is that I always put my pawns to do too many jobs in queue and miss the point of setting proper sleeping quarters first. :D Maybe after this video I might do better.

I actually don't use queues at all in this game. I prefer to set the priorities and then just override what they are doing every so often when something is more pressing than their priority levels.

@@Czardus After this video I started a new game. In that game I focused to get one thing or set of objects (like a building) done at a time. And it (shocked Pikachu face) worked! :D I still set orders (queue) but now with a very localized manner. I also prioritize important jobs on top of this. Now in my game things actually are getting done.

Since I’m British I went with left hand driving. Biggest mistake when it comes to the harbour as they have to swap sides of the road as they come out causing massive traffic jams. it’s still right hand drive inside the harbour.

I had the same problem in my city, I Just upgraded the dirt roads into pavement alleys. I thought to myself this is the Oldtown with tight roads and crammed rowhouses. The new grids surrounding the Oldtown had proper roads.

The problem with putting the stove in the fridge/freezer is more about needing a clean area for cooking. You want to have your kitchen as clean as possible to limit food poisoning chances. I was shocked by that turn of events too, but that's part of the fun of the game!
