15-22 is my rimfire challenge choice. I love CMMG stuff universally, but it's too spendy for my wallet. Warne stuff is awesome too, but I'm kinda stuck on Burris mounts.

It's hard to find a nice scope when you have a classic old rifle. Most of the modern scopes are matt black, or they have turrets all over them with objective lens' that wouldn't look out of place at an observatory.

Warning - the wildcat may compulse you to rest it against a tree fire upon it with a 10/22.

It's kind of funny you said that. Chris took the stock off before we finished making the video. It is super lightweight but he felt more comfortable with the Magpul stock on it.

Most of the time… just set it as far back as possible….. most of the time. You can move your head back easier than you can stretch your neck forward. Just don’t get an idiot cut on your eyebrow. They can be a permanent scar of shame. 😂

Nothing but problems with my dedicated complete upper from them they took garbage tier manufactured parts slapped them together and pretended it was a hand fit custom upper. When I presented all the problems I was having with it to them they basically said I was a lair and refused to do anything for me. Never again

Have both, well, now only the Wildcat. Why? Anyone who says their 10/22 doesn't jam, is full of crap. The 10/22 is the only firearm, and I have a bunch, that I have ever got rid of. The Wildcat with striker fire, pounds the firing pin, so you always have ignition, and the extractor is way bigger and stronger than the 10/22. However, I will put the 10/22 as a bit more accurate, but, if you are plinkiing, Wildcat.

My take on levelling scope, is to hang a plumb bob 25 to 30 meters away in the back yard set myself up behind my CZ at my usual hold then move the crosshair to the sting line of the plumb bob to get close as perfect to vertical level, this system has never failed me on various caliber rifles from .22 unto 303. Just my 2 bobs worth.

I was able to install these last night with a Vortex 30mm tube size and 44m objective szie using the medium permanent install rings, and I have the mechanical ability of an orangutan (kept the video on replay basically the whole time). They feel like they are a high quality product. @Warne it would be nice to have confirmation on what to do when the scope manufacturer suggests a different torque than you do (e.g. 18 in-lbs)

Great video. I wonder if the whip would be less pronounced if the barrel was, I don't know, say...mounted in a stock?
@WarneUSA2 ай бұрын
Great question. If the barrel is floated, the stock would only help hide the whip.

Maybe America should take better care of their companies and quit letting them go to shit just to be sold off to another country. Also maybe they should step up the game because American made is just not as good as it used to be. Pitter patter

Imo... I think someone should make a OPTIC PLATE that mounts on the RIB and make the TOP part long enough to come back as far as if it was drilled & Tapped ...that way the optic wouldn't be so far FOWARD
@burkejones82775 ай бұрын
That would be similar to a cantilever mount. But I have never seen one that wasn’t built into the barrel. I have a rib mount on a shotgun with a microdot on it. I wasn’t sure how I would like it at first, but I wouldn’t want anything else after shooting it. I had one on a picatinny rail, but I like this better.
