This video makes no sense cause Arcane is not a Netflix show, it's a Riot show that's published on Netflix. It was always supposed to be a 2 season story and Netflix has nothing to do with it.

Right and because Arcane cannot be cancelled, the character has to switch to other pro netflix moves like raising the prices. This video is poking a little fun at some of the things netflix does such as, cancelling shows people enjoy, raising prices, and cracking down on sharing passwords (I would have added a bit about sharing passwords, but I didn't want the video to be too long.). Netflix is entitled to do all of these things, I'm just trying to capture what it feels their attitude is behind closed doors. On another note, Arcane season 2 has been pretty incredible. Can't wait for the ending to drop tomorrow.

According to recent comments from Sanderson, this literally just happened with Emperor's Soul. Adaptation pitch was good, he let them go off and write a script - they came back a year later with an action plot that involved a love interest and pirates. Almost none of the actual story of philosophy, art and seal stamping. Just some dude wanting his story baby out there under someone else's name.

No spoilers beyond The Way of Kings here: Great video, thanks for sharing your thoughts! 17:43 I also like how many of the character's storylines in The Stormlight Archive present non-physical problems/threats along with physical ones Some small nitpicky things: The person you were trying to think of @ 8:22 might've been Teft, who was one of Kaladin's very first helpers in Bridge 4 along with Rock. @ 10:18 Teft was also the one collecting reeds with Rock and Kaladin, not Skar 28:56 Wit witnesses the arrival of Taln at the end of the book. Odium does seem to be a villain by the end of TWoK, but that wasn't who Wit sees arrive in Kholinar

Lol oh man. I mix up names in Fantasy books all the time. Thanks for pointing that out. Taln would have come up again and I would have been like, "who's this?" I see a lot of TWoK content/memes of Odium. That's probably why I mixed that one up. And for sure, I think layered conflict within so many different characters is one of the strengths of TWoK.
