Not going to lie, i hate catching skunks in anyway possible, never turns out well for me!! Hope your worf line is good this year!

@@mtchad9792 I love skunks, really good money in them. My wolf line is non existent. All the areas I scouted this year turned out to be closed to snow cats because they are wintering ground for trophy mule deer😭. I chase wolves again next year, this year I'll only be running Paul's line with him when I can.

You got to set deeper The dens have multiple entrances in high water they use the shallow dens as winter sets in they use the deeper holes.

Them baited sets for beaver never work for me. I hope you have better luck buddy. Everyone has these slow times. My go to set is the caster mond. Merry Christmas !!

@@WildAboutBeingOutdoors Castor mounds are money sets for sure. I've actually caught quite a few on the baited 330's. Wise trapper once told me " The only thing in the world harder to trap than the last muskrat, is the last beaver."

Last year I caught the big female then 5 2 year olds then the next place caught caught both adults and 3 pups that was all in that bid pond they didn’t have any huts but bunch of bank dens

330maniac sometimes gets 5, and I've seen other trappers get that many too. 4 is probably the normal average. I once caught a pregnant female in season, she had 4 little fetuses in her. I was actually surprised she had bred that early. But then I once skinned a november red fox vixen that had embryos in her. I checked due to her nipples showing more than normal. Another time someone bought me a roadkill red that had 8 fetuses, when 5-6 is normal. I once had a roadkill BIG female otter come in, she had 2 in her. They were hit in the late season. I have 1 of the otters preserved in a jar.
