This false sect teaches what the true Catholic Church has always condemned-i.e., that the Catholic Church merely "subsists" in Christianity; that all false religions have some truth within them and those who believe these false religions can be saved and they have a RIGHT to believe and practice their false religion; that the New Testament Covenant did NOT replace the covenant with the Jews so Jews can remain in their belief that the Messiah has not yet come; that the mission of the Catholic Church is NOT to convert everyone into it but to consistently "dialouge" with all false religions; that Christ did NOT institute a hierarchal human institution where the papacy was instituted to protect and defend all of His true teachings but the Church should be a "democratic" one where even the laity can determine the doctrines one is to believe.

It is truly a testament to the power of Satan when he can convince an intelligent man who knows the true Catholic faith such as Sheen could support the demonic Vatican II Council, filled with heretical Modernists whose intent was to destroy the true Catholic religion and have mostly succeeded in its 60 years of existence.

Who is the Holy Spirit? Jesus receives the Holy Spirit at His baptism, the Holy Spirit is thus inside Him, but who is He? No problem, Jesus reveals who actually is inside Him: "the Father who DWELLS in me." Jesus even further specifies that ONLY THE FATHER is inside Him, therefore the Holy Spirit must necessarily be the Father, i.e. it's just a different name for the same Father. Jesus confirms that the Holy Spirit actually is THE FATHER also in his sermon concerning the TWO blasphemies: if the first mentioned blasphemy is directed to the Son, the second one must necessarily be directed to the Father and also here for the Father is used that name instead: "Holy Spirit". If "Holy Spirit" is just a DIFFERENT name for the SAME Father, this of course implies that the Father must be "A SPIRIT"! That is fully confirmed by Jesus, who explicitly says that the Father is a Spirit (see Jn. 4:23,24). The Father is thus called "Father," "Holy Father" "Holy Spirit" by Jesus...equivalent names. In fact God is transcendent, absent, and therefore does not "personally" perform His actions here on Earth or in heaven ("nobody has seen God at any time"). You can check it out in the gospels, you can see that there are NO actions directly performed by God. Rather, such actions are taken here by Him in his "form of Spirit", who is called "Holy" by Jesus. In this form the Father was responsible for Mary's pregnancy, helped Jesus on His journey in the wilderness, later also helped Him in speaking, later He was helping the apostles too. Jesus simply is together with that Spirit who is the Father, called "Holy Spirit". Period. I.e. no trinity exists. That Spirit of course comes from the absent God.

I don't listen to canned homilies any more, I go home and listen to a Fulton Sheen talk or homily.

What hypocrites. Thwy would not enter Pilates court becasue it would be a profanity, but they'll offer Jesus up to him, since it was unlawful for them to kill our Lord. "Let those who are already evil do the evil we want done" was their thoughts. And those were among the sins Jesus died to forgive. If only Judas would have realized, his sin of betraying our Lord was exactly one of the sins Jesus took on Himself so he might be forgiven, but Judas could not imagine the mercy of our Lord being so great. Poor Jesus, He loves us so much, and we just don't believe it. We just can't believe He could forgive our terrible sins. But that's why He died! Accept His love and mercy and make Him happy!!!
