I guess they feel at home in the snow. A long time ago, early 1992, I was in Kashmir (where I think this guys originally come from). It was brutally cold. Thanks for braving the elements to make this. Barely a flake here in Croydonia.

They are really tired, aren't they? But a man's got to do what a man's got to do.... Isn't that net a potential hazard for the goats? What happens if one gets caught or entangled in it?
@GreatOrmeGoats2 ай бұрын
As far as I know, the net has never been a problem to them. The rocks are unsafe there. Those Nanny goats are hiding from the Billy goats, who can't fit through with their big horns.

@lindaannelineharwood48913 ай бұрын
Silly question, perhaps.. Can the goats swim and/or is there a way back up if they get knocked down the cliff??
@GreatOrmeGoats3 ай бұрын
I think they can swim a little, but there's big rocks down there. If they weren't too injured they could climb back up. I was very worried they'd both end up falling off the edge still locked together.

Ah, young love, boys showing off in front of the girls. Reminds me of being 13, on a caravan holiday in Llwyngwril. I had such a crush on a pretty girl from Liverpool, didn't have a clue what to do or say. Nothing's changed, still clueless, still shy and awkward and single. Are there such goats? I hope not. Raining hard here now, just as it seemed to most of the time then on that holiday. It was the moment that revealed the rift between our parents. Our father hadn't come with us, just mum, me, one of my older brothers. Nothing was said about dad's absence. Thereafter, at home, they lived like strangers under the same roof; things started to go wrong for me at school. I imagine that still happens too, kids left to figure stuff out for themselves, not being able to, going a bit crazy. Sorry to get nostalgic, dear readers, but it helps to remember these things, talk about them. I never learned how to until recently. Hasn't helped much, I'm past it now, the good ship "Possibility" has long since sailed away. Or it sank. Same difference. Like I say, nothing's changed: single, skint, sad. So it goes. The rain's easing off. Thanks for the great films.
@GreatOrmeGoats3 ай бұрын
I'm single and skint too. I like staying single, but not too happy about the skint part.
@GaryM67-713 ай бұрын
Far too many single people around, deep down we are social creatures, like the goats, we all have certain needs. I suggest a trip to Thailand, or Morocco, or the Phillipines, where you will find young women who would quite like an English husband, for the security. These countries are nice to live in too, better weather, less fascist governments. Good luck.
@stephenpowers513 ай бұрын
@@GaryM67-71 Thank you. That’s quite a bold suggestion. You’re quite right, humans are social beings. As for needs, mine are really quite modest, and better described as wants. Companionship, a hand to hold and squeeze, warmth… someone to love who wants to be loved. It’s all mutual, just finding the right connection. Sadly, I wasted my useful years, now I’m more decorative than productive, if you get my drift. (Not all that decorative to be honest.)

@@GreatOrmeGoats Thanks GOG. Probably no need to say this, but you might like to hear it. I think you should be rewarded handsomely for the stuff you put up here, I'd put up with any number of ads to watch. And there's a 'Year on the Great Orme' show waiting to be made, but they'd probably get that Fogle bloke instead of the rightful presenter (that's you, obviously). And I suspect, for what it's worth, you feel pretty rich spiritually. Well, I do, and I'm just a viewer... and I live in Croydon! As for the single thing, it is what it is. "Love Comes Quickly", the old Pet Shop Boys song, remains a firm favourite. I❤GOGs

@stephenpowers51 Thank you! I actually thought I'd make a lot more money from KZbin, but it hasn't happened. I keep neglecting the channels. It's only the seal channel I'm managing to keep on top of. My health isn't great and has been slowly declining in recent years. On top of that I've been struggling to walk and been told I've got arthritis. My 10 miles a day is now reduced to 5 miles. My health is stopping me being able to stay out guarding the seals this pupping season. I'm only managing 3 or 4 hours a day and it's not enough. If I wasn't ill and could still walk as far, I'd be posting a hell of a lot more videos and making money. When you have bad health, partners don't stick around. I spend so much time feeling ill I have to prioritise what I do and animals have always been my priority. Partners don't accept that either. It took having the partner option taken away for me to realise I never really wanted a partner. It was pressure of what people expected from me. I actually used to give myself target dates to get a partner to appear more normal, because people constantly asked about a partner and why I'm not wanting a family before it's too late. My family is every animal around me. I felt richer spirituality when I stopped trying to fit in with normality.
