Brawl back is still like one dude versus rollback. Hopefully it comes out within a year.

Having played both games, I’m very excited for rivals 2. The tempo is close to P+’s, the buffer system is simple and unobtrusive, and combos feel incredible to pull off. The only issues I have so far are: average kill %, camera, and killing blows. Since recoveries across the board are so versatile and blast zones are far, you don’t usually kill until ~135. The camera needs some tweaks imo but is decent nonetheless. The killing blow animation doesn’t happen all that often and makes some strong hits feel weak. I really love the cloud of dust that P+ uses for strong hits, so I hope they adapt something like that into rivals 2.

Funny enough some rivals players nitpick that rivals 2 debatably isn't a good sequel to rivals 1 because it plays too much like pm. As someone who plays both, that's a w for me

@666blaziken - Right; it's a fantastic game, but to me it's more of a reboot. Edit: I still cry every time I want to wall jump after up special. Wall-jump game will be dearly missed.

The term jank is subjective, but basically the meteor hit box from the 2nd hit of Bowser's upsmash is exclusive to p+ (unless maybe b- has it too) and usually that move's 2nd hit is usually seen when the opponent mistimes his/her punish, but in this case the Bowser comboed off of it.

While I don't consider it jank, it's usually only seen hitting when Bowser is on the same level as you since it only hits grounded opponents. So when Charizard got hit by it because he's so tall that he can be on the stage and still touch the platform he got confused

It's a hidden alt that you can access if you press A on Final Destination, then instanly pressing X i think

@@Brob2ndholding X gives original stages if there is one (original Dream Land 64 or Hyrule Castle 64 as an example), hold X on another stage first then move over tho since it’s also stage striking. I think it might be too late to press X after you pressed A.

@@surfingraichu7594 i don't mean hold X, i mean pressing X right after pressing A, you need to do that for the Z-alts as well because of the Music thing, X-alts and Y-alts are basically hidden alt stages, also, in PM there's only the 2 X alts that you say, in P+ there's a pretty decent amount of them
