Not impressed with the video. It got right to the heart of the build I was most interested in and they skip right over it. Just a bunch of clickbait sales pitch with bad audio.

It's unfortunate they didn't make those switches for temp and wattage adjustable. All they would need to do is bore a hole in the top right above the switches and put a removable plug in the hole. If I buy one, I will consider doing that myself.

Any chance someone can post the specs on the table displayed? I especially like the shape of the pockets 😃

they are indeed still being made, I ordered mine back in february of this year and literally received it yesterday, the production is definitely going to be longer than 3 months but if you’re willing to wait then order on his website, hope I helped!

I really recommend buying a table from Heath manning. I’ve got one on order now and he has been nothing but helpful for me. The tables are pricey but nothing shoots like a diamond.

Manning, you seriously need a better camera. Don't you hear that rattling and see the image jiggle whenever the camera tries to readjust focus? Whatever you're using, it's like shooting pool on a table with a plywood bed. Not up to Manning Cues standards.

Diamonds Quality control is lacking. I just got a black pro-am that has brown debris is the finish..and has a 1' long gouge on one section and one of the legs has raw wood showing where they missed with paint...oh and all the wedges were completely loose.
@mgajewski87243 жыл бұрын
I just a 7ft Pro-Am delivered and setup.Today after watching your video I checked all the leveling bolts. Almost all of them were completely loose and floppy. I went around and tightened all of these with my fingers. Should I tightened any further? The balls are rolling good and straight.

Thanks for the video. I am converting my 9 foot diamond light with 8 foot fluorescent bulbs with ballasts to the recommended Direct Drive LED bulbs. I got a kit to convert the T8 tombstones to non shunted G13 bi pin style tombstones. For anyone on the fence with regard to the Diamond light, get one. It's the best light that you can get.

Why doesn't diamond make a .pdf style document with step by step set up protocols? I get that the wedges need to be firm and touching the slate. (on my table they are not which leads me to think it wasn't set up properly) I can hand tighten multiple wedges--Which I assume means they are not under pressure at all. However, the table was built on a wood floor and maybe it settled, I can't see how it would settle so much that the wedges are not even touching the slate and I can turn the screw many times over.

It's way too much adjustment. For most situations. I get it....but Most won't set a table up to use the shims. Also how would that setup work with a three piece slate?. Wouldn't it pop up the bee's wax in the joints??? Anyways most don't use the table shims. They are more familiar with setting the table strait on the bed. And shimming the slate the old way. If they have too. (Thats how I'd do it myself even.) My table has been in the same spot for 20 yrs. Never had to adjust over 20 spots to get it playing perfect. , hell the slate isnt even shimmed. ....this setup is for tables on tournament tours in big rooms that might have pretty uneven floors.
@alphacapo2 жыл бұрын
Id guess u have to shim then beeswax. Then if u ever have to adjust you have to tear the table down adjust. Re wax the joints and re cover the table.

Yeah I’m not a handyman so I definitely still don’t feel comfortable to be doing this install. Great thought for the money someone would help you at least put it all together and then you get someone else to hang it.... lot of money to be left with a super nice table and not have light to even be able to play... and you spent 1000 dollars on the light itself..
@fishblade24 жыл бұрын
What do you do if both your cue ball and object ball are on the same end rail and you only have a one rail kick into the opposite end rail? I am thinking doing like the long rail to long rail. Your pocket that you are kicking towards is zero, the diamonds are 10 each up to 40, you find your track line and then look at the estimated number needed to connect with the object ball, you then add that number to your original track line and divide by two.
@mbrwn254 жыл бұрын
Another great video and great explanation on track line and hitting through the rail.

@hikotai19254 жыл бұрын
i disagree, crown allows people you cheat pockets and the rails bounce less. 20 years ago, brunswick was amazing. today they run off name alone. There is a reason the vast majority of tournaments are on diamonds pro am. Last little point, brunswixk has been naming their tables diamonds to try and play off the diamond name. Not a single diamond table is named after brunswick

When you ship this $1000 light does all that hardware/boxes inside just crash around unsecured like when you flipped it over? Diamond needs to provide that female spray painter with a chemical face mask so she doesn't get brain and respiratory diseases from breathing those toxic varnish/stain vapors! Vacuums don't eliminate all those vapors!
@uhenoalvarez34804 жыл бұрын
you could at least shown how to connect the power (you know black to black white to white) to each other. The best way in my opinion is to do a complete set up of the light because you are asking a 1000 dollars for the unit, then there's no confusion setting up the light. JUST SAYING.

I bought a cue through Manning Cues over their internet site. I received one in great shape. I ordered another one and it was warped. I contacted Manning Cues through their web site telling them it was warped. No response at all. Last time I do business with Manning Cues. FYI for those looking at web site.

So, basically your just not going to show us the slate install and completion. Why didn’t you just say that.
@fishblade25 жыл бұрын
I had a question, so if you say a drop on the 6 and 12 o' clock positions, is that per 8 or is that for all 16 balls? Also if you are only polishing up the balls once a week like you stated would you still add a drop each week you are doing that? Lastly what size of a drop? A very small or a larger drop? Just trying to be specific on it.
@winninggambler4 жыл бұрын
i would say heavy play clean once a week lighter play monthly, i'm pretty sure he means small drop on 2 balls or you will end up saturating the carpet and will need replacing sooner
