By Allah, Muhammad Hijab didn’t answer the question because if he answers the question that there is no evidence in Quran and Sunnah that Allah allows people to choose the divine leader, then the Sunni school of thought falls apart

Hijab avoided the question that matters. The Shia gave him information that will lead to the proof that imam Ali should have been the caliphate right after the prophet, which will then lead to the rest of the imams. It is clear hijab was avoiding it.

To say there's Imamah in the Quran is simply absurd. According to the Shia, Imamah is a major pillar, and disbelieving in them will render you among the kafir. Then why was such a core part of Islam left out. Why was it not mentioned if we are to take Imams as sources of knowledge, guidance and wisdom. Surah An-Nisa Verse 59 "O you who have believed, obey Allāh and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allāh and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allāh and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result." If Imamah was so important, why was it not mentioned as a class of authority? Instead here, it's mentioned if we dispute, we are to turn to Allah and the Prophet S.A.W. Why not the imams? Are they not infallible as the shia say? Surely you're able to take guidance from Imams if they're regarded as infallible. Yet there's no mention in the Quran at all. So we are to take them as authority but the Quran says otherwise?

Lol. The Shia have been fighting since then and are still fighting until now. The sunni's just don't care because they simply follow Allah and Muhammad. Umar bin al Khatab was beloved to Muhammad and appointed by him many times in the seerah he's one of the greatest of men that has ever lived and therefore we love him. And the Shia hate him loll and many more that Muhammad loves and they hate. Expected and typical. Get over it. You will have to answer to Allah for claiming that you know better than Muhammad. PBUH.
