I’m sure a student nurse is fully qualified to take vitals but how is the patient supposed to know that. Would you want someone wearing a “student pilot” badge flying your plane?! And when you challenge it the pilot angrily says I’m actually a student pilot regarding night time flying in a twin engine I’m fully licensed to fly you in the day on a single engine plane.

Hi Noel! I am currently in an ABSN program (after first failing by 2 pts in semester 3 of ADN prog. July 22). I just wanted to reach out and let you know that you are absolutely NOT alone! I, and I am certain so many others can relate to so much of this! It does not get easier. HOWEVER you will adjust. First semester is tough just going through the motions and figuring everything out (home life mixed with school life as a wife and mother). But again, you will adjust and hopefully sail through… the best advice I could give anyone that I slacked on is practicing NCLEX questions every single day!! Oh and most importantly keep Jesus close by 💕I hope this helps… 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Hello Noel, I just came across your channel, and I so can relate to you!! About three years ago I applied to nursing school, was accepted and ended up failing my second semester. I was devastated!!! 😢😢😢 I left nursing school, I’m currently working as a CMA, which I love but I’m thinking about applying to another nursing school and going back. I must be crazy! 😮. But I just can’t let it go…something inside of me tells me I can do this. So I was so happy to see some like me with a family and a bit more older - mean it in a good way! - been a nursing student and juggling life, with kids, husband..etc. I wish you the best, truly do! And I hope I get to go back myself snd give it another try. Hod bless. 😊

Hi girl! I just finished fundamentals this last week, and I can completely relate with you. I'm also a mom and wife, and I felt there was no time to catch up. So you are not alone. My study people are also in the same boat. I finished with a high B but let me tell you, that was a hard pill to swallow, coming from all the studying I was doing and being a straight-A student before nursing school. Long story short, nursing school humbles you 😂

Yes thanks for keeping thing real! I have had my moments while in nursing school!! Nursing school is hard and it takes so much but it will be worth it in the end! Keep pushing!
