Nursing School FIRST WEEK | What it is like being a NURSING STUDENT | FIRST DAY CANCELED!

Hey everyone! This video shows over 2 weeks in nursing school. My first day did NOT go as expected, but we keep moving on! I am preparing for the unit 1 test that took place Monday on Week 3. Nursing school is no joke, and is VERY fast-paced. I hope you all enjoy this video. I know most of it is in the car, or talking at my desk; however, I can't take you all into school and these moments are more predictable for me to talk with you guys. XO Noel

I am halfway through my accelerated program, and nursing school is ROUGH. What I've learned is to make sure to take mental health days because if you cant take care of yourself, you cant take care of others! I promise you that it may seem like you're not grasping anything, but you know more than you think! And make sure you turn that brain off at the end of the night, it needs it :) You got this!

Just came across your channel! I'm half way through my Accelerated BSN program. Our 1st semester was 19 credits hours of all nursing courses! It is brutal girl so I totally get it! I'm also a mom and wife and it's such a balancing act! Proud of you! Hope you are doing well!

I am in my senior year of my BSN program and I still feel nervous/anxious and unworthy all the time. It's normal! Nursing school is tough but so worth it. One of my favorite study tools I use is a whiteboard, I like to write down everything I know about a certain topic then look at my notes to see what I am still missing and I write it in another color. It really helps me retain a lot of information. Good luck with everything and keep the videos coming :)

I do the same thing! I basically have to rewrite my type notes, and then rewrite it on the giant white board (24 by 36) I got at office depot for 20 buck & i like using it so much i got another and it really does help, plus there are not paper everywhere. It also helped my study group and I basically teach each other with the white board (so far so good for us, getting A's and finished our 2nd semester on the president list). I do study everyday as well, trying to keep my head above water, I don't want to drown, I've seen so many cohort withdrawing from the course because they skip a few days of studying. Keep up the good work! You're going to do great! P.S know your Pathophysiology & understand it, then the sign and symptom will come naturally.

I just started in august and I’m so overwhelmed. I bombed my first quiz but the good thing is they drop ur lowest score!! I know exactly how you feel. Good luck 🍀

So gutted your very first class was cancelled! I start as a senior next week 😬 coffee will be your very best friend in nursing school! I'm a mum, wife and KZbinr during nursing school too, so I get the hardship of keeping it all together! Organisation is key! Notebooks, planners, to do lists, wall planners, you name it, you need it! ❤ you will be great ❤

Awe girl, you’re not alone in thinking that way. I’m in nursing school and I’m about to take my first unit exam after Labor Day and what you said about how we need to study for nursing school is spot on. And congratulations on passing your first exam in nursing school that is amazing!!!! I’m praying I’ll do well. I know you’ll get better each day, and like you said we do have to study every day. Ugh.. I knew it was gonna be so hard! I am also a mom and wife & will be starting RN program next Fall. Currently in prereqs. It’ll be worth it though! It is for the betterment of my family. I also had the adequacy doubt my first week of fast track A&P. I follow your journey as I wait for mine!
