Yep, lots of buses can sometimes get in the way. Pretty often King County Metro will send a supervisor unit (Tahoe with amber lights) to direct bus traffic and make reroutes

One of Seattle's solutions to the homeless crisis is tiny home villages, which are little one-room buildings built on pallets, they look pretty similar to shacks or sheds. They fit about 25 of them in a fenced parking lot. One of the tiny homes caught fire and since they're so close together a total of 17 tiny homes burned down This was on Elliott Avenue West, about 2 miles from downtown and about a mile from the Space Needle. Thanks for watching! 'B' stands for Battalion, which is a command unit. They're staffed by a firefighter at the rank of battalion chief, who as a pretty senior member isn't really fighting fires but more overseeing the operations of the ladder trucks, fire engines, etc. They respond to large incidents such as structure fires and extrications to command the scene. Each battalion chief is essentially the shift supervisor for 1/5 of the department (there are five battalion chiefs for each shift) 'M' stands for Medic, which is one of two types of ambulances in Seattle. 'A' stands for Aid, which is one type staffed by firefighters. They treat stable patients only and rarely transport, since SFD has a contract with AMR to transport stable patients. 'M' stands for Medic, which is staffed by paramedics. They're also firefighters, but when they're on the medic units, they only act as paramedics. They treat and transport the more seriously ill or injured patients. Hope this helped!

​@@athompso99 Yeah P25 a type of digital radio; tldr is that the audio sounds like this though is better for the users in the long run (allows the department to know the location of every radio, at all times, etc...) hope that made some sense

Hey! Thanks for reaching out. It's... complicated. The copyright owner of all the footage is WSDOT, which doesn't usually archive footage. The footage was archived by a third-party group unaffiliated with WSDOT, which is called SafetyVid ( safetyvid.com/ ) Though WSDOT owns the copyright, I have seen other news organizations use SafetyVid-archived footage without a problem. I believe SafetyVid requests credit for footage. I have no problem with my content being used, but just wanted to let you know there's a couple other parties involved! 😄
