I enjoyed the content. I fish Bassenthwaite lake I have many blanks on the Dead baits. I find it reassuring when I see the fact that other more competent people also experience similar sessions I enjoyed the ambiance and setting. Good work and good effort Tight lines from Cumbria

Good video guys lomond is certainly a moody water the way weather fronts can change etc ive been pike fishing the lochs for 35yrs and i would say freshwater baits outfish smelly seabaits by a mile certainly for the bigger craftier pike i also think a lot of these attractants are just witch oil produced to catch anglers thats only my opinion but at the end of the day its a confidence thing and if its boosts yours then why not anything to help your positivity on winter sessions on a big dour loch has got to be a good thing you made a valid point about the runs you got the smelly baits attract eels 100% you were unlucky guys blanks are part of it cheers be lucky tightlines

@@addictedtoangling Thank you😊. i’ve used the attractants a good few times and tbf i’m not really sure they make a difference myself, i’ve caught equally with and without them so who knows! Its all about trying new things i suppose. We were limited on bait, i would loved to have had the 3 rods with 3 different baits but we made the most of it, always great to be out on the banks of Lomond, love days were its moody, its stunning!

fish caught - 0 skimmers skimmed -32 doughnuts consumed -2 cups a tea - 6 tea flasks broke with a rock -1 great memmories made always tho mate wel get them next time. need to get stevie oot for next one

@@richardtorr4553 Thank you Richard, appreciate it 😁…I was actualy out on my dads boat that day which is quite high and not ideal to fish from, i’m usualy out on my own boat which is a lot closer to the water and that net works perfectly! The Perch fishing is fantastic on Lomond 👌🏼

@@greggferns3278 The gloves were soaking wet made sure of that and the fish was out the water for 30/40 seconds max. Fish swam off healthy 😁

I prefer the Perch fishing, but I find Pike love a big lob worm on the drop shot. - you'll get perch as well but Pike love a big lob worm (angling centre in Glasgow have them). If you want to motor, use a 6-8g drop shot, if you want to drop shot at anchor, you'll only need 3-5 grams.

Used to Love Fishing for Perch & Pike at Loch Lomond !!! I used to get my year licence for £50 from the wee shop @ Balmaha I think its £90 now But You won't have to pay or do You while on the Kayak...Great Vid just subscribed 👍

Absolutely brilliant, really enjoyed watching this. Exactly the same fishing as myself, do you weigh the mepps down? I've recently went back to using a barrel weight and a big lob worm and I've been getting good catch rates on that as well - good for when it goes quiet! Great to see the wee one loving it as well. Tight lines.

@@DarioFerrari23 Give the westin lures a go, they are really good- especially the gold/brown or green variety. Insaying that, they are pretty equal to the mepps when I test them side-side.

What a great babysitter you are, the wee chatterbox certainly kept you on your toes. I've also got an arran boat which is getting a complete make over which i normally use in East Lothian. Wonderful stable vessels. I'm happy you caught some trout and rescued another, also over the moon watching you show compassion in front of the little one and returning them. What also brought a smirk was when you lent over the net your builders backside was showing what i thought was you put the wife's thong on by mistake!!! It was obviously you're lifebelt lifting strap. 😅😅😅 A great day out for you both and thank you for the teamwork.
