Pike and Perch Fishing on The Big Loch - Loch Lomond, Scotland

This week I’m exploring Loch Lomond.
It’s big! Loch Lomond is the largest lake by surface area and the second largest lake by volume in Great Britain, after Loch Ness. It is surrounded by majestic mountains and munros. A truly spectacular place to wet a line.
The Loch has a vast variety of fish to catch, ranging from Dace to Sea Trout. In this video I’m after the Lochs Pike and Perch.
A surprise Pike makes an appearance after taken my dropshot lure intended for Perch, after a few minutes the fish snaps my 6lb line.

Hi mate, yip Arran 16, had it for about two years now and absolute love it, great boat! I’ve not ventured upto Loch Awe yet its defo somewhere i would like to try. Do you fish out of Awe yourself?

@@DarioFerrari23 I do fish Loch Awe, I've put a few videos on my channel including where to launch and a cracking Ferox Trout I caught this year. Some good Pike there too.

@@anotherangleUK Now that you say that i’ve actualy watched a few of your vidoes. I had a few trips planned for Loch Awe last year but had to cancel due to the weather. I might try and get up shortly, have a bash at the Pike.

You wouldn't go wrong fishing off the jettys where the boats are moored up, thats where the big buggere will be

Hi, im coming to Loch lomond tomorrow for a week staying at Drymen. No boat just fishing from the shore or jetty, any advsie on where to fish would be appreciated . I think balmaha is my nearest location

Very good fishing around Balmaha, theres a pier if you follow the road round, will catch various species there. Tight Lines
