It really depends on what your role and department is. Some roles have less restrictions than others. Sometimes the ship might have special crew events to allow crew to use certain areas.

If you go into the Disney cruise careers website you can find the jobs on there. Depending on what country you are from you select from a list which gives you info about a procurement ally in your country.

Hello i found your Disney Cruise Line Youth Activities Counsellor very helpful. I sent my application a week ago today the longer I wait the more nervous I get haha. I do currently work for TUI in which I’ve worked two seasons with the company in Kids Club from March to November in 2023 & also in 2024. Just hope I can get past the first hurdle really haha.

So at each of the locations for the monuments there is a little shop and inside is a little station to stamp. You can just do it yourself as well.

Absolutely just apply and apply again. You can also look to see what experience you can gain to help your chances of getting hired.

Are you allowed to choose which age group you work with on your first cruise and there after? like I don't really like working with young kids the 3-11? Year olds, I'm more used to edge and vibe age groups the tweens and teens.

So I believe it has some weight when counting for experiences so if it’s paid and for people outside the family. Although I can’t say for certain of it. I know it was 6 professional, I don’t believe it’s changed but again it’s been a while. If you apply you can reach out to the recruiter to ask details straight away so you can prepare for that.

So I believe now there is a certain amount of free internet given to crew. Things constantly change all the time so some of this information may be outdated. Social media policy is pretty much don’t show anything backstage/behind the scenes or any secrets. Id you take a common sense approach you’ll be fine to post about your own time and photos.

Hey ash i wanted to ask with the medical if your bmi is over 30 can that fail you and also dental checks is there requirements for that? Hopefully joining DCL after my medical but im very nervous!

Hello, with regard to BMi I don’t think there was BMI requirement and I didn’t have a dental check either. The main part of the medical is to make sure you’ve had certain injections and clear of any communicable diseases. But if you have any specific questions I would reach out to the recruiter who will have more details on medical requirements.

Yep the laundry is free to use and they also provide free washing powder should you want to use that. Otherwise you can buy your own preferred from the supermarket and bring it on.

Joining the dream for the first time next week! So excited. Joining as assistant dining room service, what privileges do they get? Is there a crew smoking area? Do you have to join within the end of the vacation period or can you extend that? Thanks in advance :)
