Janssen execs became concerned about adverse events reported in media and by alternative sites, but because of the OWS they did not have access directly to their own data. They had to file a FOIA to get it! Head of vax (Mathai Mammen) abruptly resigned after, leaving possibly millions on the table. After that the FDA punished J&J via this method.

Talk about a dream job. Just last year, as a hobbyist, I was branching out beyond basic mycology and microscopy, learning sterile technique and how to identify things under the scope. Now, thanks to TheOdin, Lightbio, and educators like The thought emporium, my interests have all crossed paths, I've built a home PCR lab, and used GPT to develop working protocols for extracting and sequencing genes from fungi, culturing plants, and transforming them using agrobacterium. It all seems to stem back to Twist! I can only imagine the possibilities from here. Can't wait to order me some genes. DNA data storage has always been a fascinating topic for me, but it always seemed like sci Fi! I love how close we are to that reality. I hope to contribute as greatly to this field of learning in the next few years as you all have, thanks for sharing these stories.

I don't gloat over this, for if Jack hadn't been arrogant and sloppy in his attitude towards his Creator's creation 15 years ago, he wouldn't have been humbled like this.
