Thank you! This is the fold I've been trying to remember! So good for the early super loose 💩. You can roll the sides against their thigh like a little gusset barrier 🤌🏿💝

What I heard is hemp type takes long to dry. So overall which is win win? Bamboo or hemp or microfiber?

What fold would be best for a heavy wetter? We mainly use pocket diapers at night, but she wakes up in the morning soaking wet. I have a TON of different sized prefolds and a couple flour sack towels as well and I am trying to find a better night time diaper for her. She weighs 20 pounds, and is 30 inches long if that matters.

Thanks they look great. Do these warp in terms of one layer shrinking differently than the other? I have some (from another store) and it drives me crazy!

I love using doublers like the clotheez ones you showed! I got some no name ones in a used lot I bought and they look similar to the clotheez. I pair them over either a bamboo cotton or cotton hemp and it adds what I need without too much bulk!

One pee or poo per diaper is what you want if you prefer to potty train early. get the babe used to having a dry bum always, and never let poop sit, get it away even if it means leaving your babe with a bare bum. bare bum is best at home for teaching potty training. just a little advice from a now grandmom mom.

I want to make pads for older girl Christmas boxes and was hoping to find out an absorbent material to use haha, good job tho, didn't really watch but my diapering days thank goodness are over lol. 52 years and 5 kids, 7 grands later <3 me, all about the pads :/

Hey! I'm looking for a night time diaper. When you say heavy wetter, does that mean heavy wetter? Like my son drinks coconut water and I do stop him from drinking a 2 hours before bed. He pees A LOT. And I use regular diapers for night time but I'm honestly done buying diapers just for night time and naps. I'm searching for a good diaper and I'm not a fan or rubber pants. Just want to make sure when you say heavy wetter, it's A LOT of pee(:

What do you do with a heavy wetter? We do the normal Insert and a charcoal one but he still wakes up soaked
@janinedear-barlow3 жыл бұрын
Wool is supposed to be great for heavy wetters at night as it's absorbent. A lot of people also use a prefold with hemp.

I thought this was very helpful, and the only thing I’d change is adding a pic to each insert in your chart so we can see thickness as well. I’m wanting an absorbency at 11+ (using your chart measurements) but would choose from there based on the thinnest. Thank you for putting this together.

while the microfiber may be suuuper absorbent, i’d be worried about compression leaks w it 😩
@DamselNThisDress274 жыл бұрын
I would suggest doing this again and next time squeezing out excess water (not too hard, but to where it is wet but not SOPPING for more accurate results to how wet you would actually let your baby get). I bet the order of the list would change drastically.

I thought the information was good, I was annoyed that I had to keep turning the volume up and down though. Would get it up to here you talk but immediately had to turn it down because the music you used was blaring and almost woke up my baby.
@runtylegs4 жыл бұрын
Wouldn't an accurate test of 'most absorbent' factor in area of insert so that the results weren't skewed by insert size? These results don't tell me very much about how absorbent the material is of each insert.

Could you do honest reviews on the thirsties duo wrap
@kyliecashion37403 жыл бұрын
I use thirsties! They are great but after about a year, it's like the shell leaks through now... so I have to buy a new set of thirsties shells...
@Organized-chaos14 жыл бұрын
You can also use the newborn prefolds as fillers for extra absorbency for older babies :) so it’s a great investment

Thank you for making this video! This is awesome and much appreciated for a mom who is new to cloth diapering. We started cloth diapering our 16 month old because we have a new addition coming in a few months. Plus a 3 year old who is still potty training lol. Cloth saved us so much! Subscribing for more awesome videos! I appreciate small channels who produce great quality videos!
