Thank you for a very comprehensive , scientific and informative demonstration. It looks like taking a trip to the lab in high school.

Thank you for explaining about clotheeze and stacking. I’m new to cloth diapers and doing lots of research. This was so helpful.

I love using doublers like the clotheez ones you showed! I got some no name ones in a used lot I bought and they look similar to the clotheez. I pair them over either a bamboo cotton or cotton hemp and it adds what I need without too much bulk!

I thought this was very helpful, and the only thing I’d change is adding a pic to each insert in your chart so we can see thickness as well. I’m wanting an absorbency at 11+ (using your chart measurements) but would choose from there based on the thinnest. Thank you for putting this together.

What I heard is hemp type takes long to dry. So overall which is win win? Bamboo or hemp or microfiber?

What do you do with a heavy wetter? We do the normal Insert and a charcoal one but he still wakes up soaked
@janinedear-barlow3 жыл бұрын
Wool is supposed to be great for heavy wetters at night as it's absorbent. A lot of people also use a prefold with hemp.

while the microfiber may be suuuper absorbent, i’d be worried about compression leaks w it 😩

I would really love it if someone would just make a complicated list of the results

good info but yes the sound was very loud and quiet, painful on the ears.

I would suggest doing this again and next time squeezing out excess water (not too hard, but to where it is wet but not SOPPING for more accurate results to how wet you would actually let your baby get). I bet the order of the list would change drastically.

My kiddo only pees in one place in the diaper so it don't hold a lot 😅

Wouldn't an accurate test of 'most absorbent' factor in area of insert so that the results weren't skewed by insert size? These results don't tell me very much about how absorbent the material is of each insert.

I thought the information was good, I was annoyed that I had to keep turning the volume up and down though. Would get it up to here you talk but immediately had to turn it down because the music you used was blaring and almost woke up my baby.
