I just got my S2C last week! Glad to learn about a local custom shop in the Tampa area. I checked your site and didn’t see anything specific to the S2C. If you guys offer up any work for the S2C, you should put it on the site. I’d be interested. I just subbed!

We do! It falls under our 6 pack ports. (4” or under barrel). Thanks for the sub!!

Never thought I say it-But’s it’s every bit as good, if not better (glass tint, brightness, sharpest dot, & battery placement alone) than the SRO I have on a Scorpion. That said, cost isn’t always indicative of quality..especially red dots. Use what’s appropriate per platform. I run an Aimpoint T2 Micro on an Ultimak gas tube rail b/c there’s really no other optic that can handle the extreme heat generated by the AK barrel it sits right over). However, the Aimpoint is not very bright. Same with the SRO. The brightness settings are nearly maxed out on both high end Aimpoint, & Trijicon dots. But, ideal for those specific platforms. Again, every optic has its place, & the XL’s (ideal for competition) place is on any full sized handgun using a #4 DPP Delta Point Pro/Leupold plate to mount it with.

Only had my Staccato CS for a little over a month now and paid the same for mine from Staccato (+$100 for the DLC barrel). It's my first 2011 although not my first 1911. I have no problem with its price. Mine has functioned flawlessly and I just don't see other 2011/1911s out there that are quite as concealable. This is my EDC at this point. I was in law enforcement for 32 years at both the local and federal level and transitioned from a .38 S&W Revolver, to a Beretta 92F, to a countless series of Glocks. I've also owned H&Ks and Springfields. I've never owned or shot the Prodigy so can't comment on a comparison or if the Staccato merits the price difference or not. All I can say is the CS is the highest quality firearm I've owned to date. On the subject of the delay, mine shipped in about five weeks straight from Staccato but it also only came with two magazines not three. Maybe that's the 2023 CS that came with three?

In every way the Staccato's and Wilson are worth the prices charged and in no way is the PRODIGY worth what it costs. Compare the build and parts quality honestly, and you'll agree. By the way. What are they actually made out of (not what they list on their website) junk cast parts. Who competes with them (extreme few people). You are trying to compare an off brand firearm to a Glock.
