This is awesome! Great tips, I especially love the aspect of sharing that story behind the song. Being able to write something people can connect with on a deeper level, not just through the music itself, but also that message of encouragement and hope is what got me creating. Marketing has always been the toughest part for me, especially when it comes to the repetition aspect, lol It's inspiring to hear that posting 34, 35 times can really make all the difference! It can be scary putting your music out there, especially for the first time and when you're not quite sure where your audience might be found, but persevering and never giving up is the most important thing!

What would be a good threshold for beginning to put money towards ads on Instagram? I have 500 followers and most of my videos get about 300 views. Sitting around 900 monthly listeners on Spotify. Would it be if a video gets around 600 views? I hear people saying when the post does well organically then put ad money towards it. I’m really stuck on this point. Thank you for all of your content you’ve been a real help to my confidence over the years.

Where is the "simple hack?" You're a "Christian" right? So... are you a liar too? Cmon man. People give you there time waiting for what you promised to deliver. The LEAST you could do is be honest.

13 minutes and no description of the hack? C'mon man. Quit with the clickbait.
@its1022music3 күн бұрын
You’re acting like he said nothing of value, sounds like you weren’t listening. He said clearly in the beginning the hack is to change your mindset. You’re mindset is “I need it now” instead of “I’m gonna reach my goal by building up to it”

@@its1022music I've watched a handful of his videos. A lot of the stuff is clickbait. You want to watch someone that can actually help, try Andrew Southworth.

Yeah, long ramble... almost identical to all his other videos. But where is this "simple hack?"
@OfJaggedRisings2 күн бұрын
That’s because with music there is no simple hack… The answer is always to absolutely work your butt off for many years and hope that you get lucky.
@DopamineOverload2 күн бұрын
@@OfJaggedRisings Sure thing. Then why bother having a channel like this? He's just saying the same stuff, over and over again.

I've made over 300 songs now, getting an album teaser/trailer ready for my first release, got it mastered in MP3 and WAV formats, updated cover art to proper resolution & quality, added all metadata, and now I have one album ready to go. I've been so busy with other things, but I'm dropping my first album on the 27th. It's a bit of a crunch, and I've had to push back the timeline a couple of times, but altogether I have about 16 albums or so, and there's 8 billion people in the world. I only need a small percentage of them to like my music. I do see big money being possible, though I wouldn't know it as I've been 5-10x below poverty level my whole life, and spent my 20s and 30s wasting my money instead of saving it. I turned 50 yesterday, and now I own a record label. I guess I subconsciously forced myself to make this big life change. I hope it all goes well. I spent my "buy a car" fund to start the label, and my LLC somehow got formed in the wrong state, so I have to mail a form to the IRS ASAP and file an address change with the post office. It will be another week before I can afford to set up my business bank account, but I'm trying to do this properly, to keep business and personal finances separate. I've signed myself to my label by contract, and just need that bank account to send money into. I have a PayPal donation button on my site, but honestly I don't expect anything from it. My meager paychecks are funding it all, but rent is due and I'll be broke til next Friday. In the meantime, I'll be getting another album ready so I can release at least 2 albums at the same time. Since I do nearly every genre and style, I can't let one album represent all my work. All my music is currently free to listen to at www.udio.com/creators/songofthespheres or check out my website GamaheaMusic.com

Wait, you made hundreds of AI songs and think you are a musician and label owner? Are you serious? //Someone who wrote over 500 songs in the past 15 years and I'm only 32 years old. Please explain how you made 300 songs. Typing in prompts in udio or suno? This is hurtful to read as a pianist, composer and producer. You will be in for suprise when you realise AI generated songs wont actually make you any money. It is also just flooding an already flooded market where it's already hard to be seen. What does work? ONE good high quality song at a time every month. That is how you grow organically. I'm saying this with experience. My music has received 100 million streams worldwide over the past 10 years. I've done it before AI was a thing. However, you could find a NICHE like "egyptian metal" and focus on that. I discovered someone yesterday who is succeeding with that. But you are doing WAY TOO many genres. Find a niche if you wanna put all your eggs in the AI music basket. You also need to post albums on KZbin to gain any momentum. Where are they? EDIT: I read your website and listened to your songs. it seems you misunderstand the world of digital music. It is not hard to release music independently. I've done it solo since 2011. All you need is a distributor and pay a membership. It is NOT expensive and it is not hard to get your music out. What is hard is actually getting attention. Getting someone to listen. Now you made 400+ AI songs and think you have something of value? I'm trying to understand your thought process. Please send me a link to music you have produced without the help of AI? You mention you use Abletion/FL Studio. For what? Mastering? I look forward to checking it out. You're going to release too much music, in too many genres, to an audience of zero. It's not going work. What does work? Find a niche you care deeply about. Even if it's AI... it might work it it's unique enough. But quality is still more important than quantity. Thank you
