Thanks for the video Chris, here’s my story. Recently I received an email that Spotify removed 3 of my albums. Their reason was that I used bots to get streams. The only problem is that I’ve never done that ever. They told me to contact my distributor and their response was to reload the albums. Of course paying again which is fine. The issue that I have is an integrity issue. They’ve given me no documentation or proof of the bot, where it came from nothing. I am a minister musician and my life is based on my word being true. So basically call me a liar. I consulted an attorney and they said they would send their attorney a letter for a fee. Any suggestions?

Re-upload cause you don't have a choice. maybe different Distributor, use same ISRC codes. AVOID all sketchy promotional services. Run your own ads or Spotify ads within their platform. Never give up! It's just a speed bump. move forward, don't hire a lawyer unless your out of tens of thousands.

Spotify took down my top song this last week. A fake streaming website put it on their playlist without my permission. I’m going to re-release it and find a way to use this experience to my advantage.

This situation wld drive me nuts. It’s hard enough to get support help from the distributor for problems they create. Did u try Spotify support ? Did they try to help?

Getting to point why putting on spotify instead sell cds or mp3 or flac or alac. promote to your own list instead of spotify.

I don't use fake streams, which explains my abysmal analytics 😂 If I lost my streams, I may as well close the profile myself 😂

Hey mate. Thanks for the great guidance u provide to us. 🙏 CN u help me with this question please? I want to promo a new song with meta ads. I currently have an ad not performing so well. Is it best to start completely fresh or modified the info and content of an existing Ad? Does it make any difference for the learning faze? Really it’s only the content I’ll be changing and some of the audience. This is a website view campaign with pixel etc.

I had my songs removed because of bots. I think Spotify allows this so it can get rid of smaller artists. My 16 year career is dead because of bots streaming my songs. I didn't ask for this. F Spotify. If I put my music back up it won't be on their platform. I NEVER had this issue with Apple Music.
