What a turn for the Axis! At first, I was delighted you were 100% on tech, but was then horrified about the loss of 2 fighters and the decimation of your land units. The pendulum swung back positive with the disposition of naval forces. The distribution of land zones really pushed this turn into one of incredible luck!

I havent read all of the rules yet, but can Germany switch Vichy units and territory to German at a later time?

Theres no river penalty.

So when you annexed Austria France and GB'S Income increased by 1 IPP. Do they get to spend this extra IPP on the first turn or do they have to wait until their next turn. E.g France has 6 to spend this turn and wont have 7 to spend until turn 2?

Looks like the units have been watered down. Generic units..I.e. no country specific specialized units.

The Germans only get one defensive roll no matter how many directions they are being attacked from. It’s considered to be one battle.

You are correct on using the three units to attack the Germans in k25. So the attack will be rolled as one attack which will be the 5 units attacking from the beach and the 3 units from the flank versus the German defensive rolls.

So: I know that K24 must go on to L24, and cannot land at K23. Can the three units currently at l24 engage in a flanking action with Jig at k25? And if they do, does that cause return fire from L23, or is return fire only after units in L24 have maneuvered? And since casualties are taken before landings, if I'm reading it right, there's not a lot of reason not to flank the beach forts if you can.

PBE = Play by Email. That's how old this random number generator is! It's from a time when we were playing board games by email!

Vehicle-class units are -2 attacking into cities (except when surrounded or when using "Blitzkrieg"). So when you rolled 4 @ "2" on the first round and got 2 hits, there was a 50/50 chance for each hit that it was one of your cavalry @ "1". We PBE'd this and one of the hits converted to a miss (because one of the "2's" rolled was a cavalry and that needed a "1" instead). For R2, there is a 1/3rd chance that the hit was one of the 2 cavalry. We PBE'd this and the hit was converted to a miss (because the "2" came from one of the cavalry). There was one extra defending infantry and it hit on a "2". On R3, the attacking cavalry misses with a "6". The attacking 2 boosted infantry, 2 artillery miss with "5", "9", "10", "6". The attacking fighters get one hit with "8", "1". The defending infantry misses with "12". The defending fighter misses with "9". Battles for cities can only last 3 rounds. The Spanish Nationalists retreat with 2 infantry, 1 cavalry, 2 artillery to Basque Country on the 3rd round, having lost 1 cavalry.

Will we see an Italian factory/tech program to show the world who is rally leading the Axis (morally or something)... No recruitment roll in Spain?
