Big thing I haven't seen anyone talk about - Breloom can now learn Spore! It wasn't added in any of the big updates where other 'mons got access to moves they should have had, so I guess people stopped looking, but you can now use the move reminder on Breloom at any level to teach it Spore! Big win for my OG Breloom, Skippy ❤️

@@yugzz yup! Tested in on both a wild-caught Breloom and my playthrough Breloom who evolved at first opportunity, and both could learn it!

Recently added Magic Guard Clefable with skill swap to my squad and she's been a wonderful addition! No longer do I need to fear recoil! For an added bonus, it can learn trick, so you can give it a focus sash to trick onto the opponent and use a super effective move, bypassing false swipe's low base power

6:56 No your odds are higher, not lower 1/512 (0.1953%) is a larger number than 1/4096 (0.0244%) You basically just said the odds went from 20% down to 80%. See how that doesn't make sense? I'm sick of seeing people get this wrong but as a basic rule of thumb If it becomes more likely, then the odds have increased If it becomes less likely, then the odds have decreased

Shiny Buizel is my favorite little goober, I always name mine Lumina when I find him in a game, Illumi if it’s a girl. Been obsessed with buizel since I first saw it in the manaphy movie. I was only 5 back then but it’s always stuck with me as being such a cute and cool Pokémon. I always have my everstone ready to keep him perfect forever 🌊✨🤣

I never thought I would miss this game, never found a shiny, hated the story and don't think gen 4 is that good, but I missed chaining and revisited it, no shiny btw

The chain breaking because you encounter an edge patch was only in Gen 4. This "feature" isn't in BDSP, edge patches aren't relevant

Kinda wild how some of the smallest changes were made yet all the old glitches were exactly the same. I'll keep this in mind if I head back to radar. I mostly follow the old radar rules and usually keep a chain going

I’ve done 2 shiny hunts in the Underground and I found them surprisingly fun honestly. We’re the odds good? GOD no. Did one of the hunts take 76 hours? Yes. But did I have fun? Kind of! And that’s more than I can say for most shiny methods. Congrats on the cool shinies!

Which ones did you find? I actually kinda liked the underground too. Especially when we had a whack ton of ppl down there hunting together. 3 weeks was kind of a drag for me cuz I try to get a video out a month 😂

My favourite one-time method is doing forest doubles hunt, I got a shiny budew in 5 hours in that one

Likely because in terms of pricing, BDSP is arguably worse (as someone who prefers BDSP). Let's Go has new mechanics and new mons (via trade regional forms) while BDSP is just Diamond & Pearl with a few minor additions. Especially compared to HGSS (which honestly didn't even fix its problems but still added notable content) and ORAS, BDSP is a disappointment while Let's Go manages to just...exist.
