I already knew about this that we could parent external objects to the rig but I always used with automatic weights which doesn't work well so this video was really great and helpful.

Is there a way to download a model from Mixamo without skin/textures so that I can add a motion capture I did with Motive software (Optitrack) to the Mixamo model in Maya? Some tutorials I've found said Mixamo models can be downloaded without textures. But, I only see an option to do the format and pose. When I try to attach the Motive FBX to the Mixamo model via bind skin, I am told by Maya that the Mixamo model already has a skin. Thanks.

Does this mean that the face is by default using a Delta mush? Or is that something you added?

i did this, for a gun and magazine, for the gun, it came good, for the magazine, the blend parent is 0 but still it is attached to the character, there is no other constrains for the mgazines and no keys except the one set key which i give while constraining
