It's really amazing how, there are enemies that are taller than your mech that you regularly encounter and are relatively easy to defeat, but due to things like camera positioning, positioning from the enemy, and even your own movement (such as being boosted in the air) they end up looking much smaller. Every time I've fought a Toybox mech (and I've done it several times bc I use that mission for money grinding) it's always looked smaller than me but _no_ its larger than your ac!

I don't know, I think Metyr seems very aquatic. She looks like a lobster centaur, but the lobster half is hands. The fingers are the end shape a lobster fan tail. Edit: Also note that Metyr herself is the thumb, the thing that allows the fingers to firmly grasp and manipulate easily. I think this symbolism really is illustrative of the Greater Will's absence. Metyr leads the way.

The whole story is a mess, ER came out at most only 60% completed and everything you see in the final game from NPCs, storylines, quests, concepts, is a tiny fraction of what they originally planned. Most of the stuff was simply never finished due to C*vid.

1. The sunflowers always point to the tree 2. The Scadu tree is absorbing the light from the sun, giving it to the erdtree on top 3. Lastly the scadu tree is a source of light and the gate of divinity has a source of light . 2 different lights

Also, each sunflower head seems to have 9 glowing disc-florets/eyes; I wonder if that has something to do with the 9 Realms of Norse Mythology? Afterall, the Erdtree and Scadutree bear a similar role to Yggdrasil.

Mh i ahvent igven the sword much thought, rahter my baseline assumption is that the ribcage was destroyed by something bursting out. In my headcanon it was bayle mother perhaps, which would then "justify" his actions against placy assuming the sword is linked to farum and a murder

And incredibly not a single finale except maybe the Frenzied Flame one, takes care of Godwin's body. All other endings mean that Godwin is still growing and one day will infect everything. So maybe the real true finale is the Fia one since we are all going that way in the end nonetheless.

I’m tired of people saying that the winter lanterns are in someway connected to the doll. One: Gehrman made the Doll himself, he just asked moon presence to bring life into the doll. So why would Gehrman make sure that it looks like some cosmic nightmare entity?

@ because- given a lot of things. It’s safe to say that nearly every nightmare except nightmare frontier existed long before the dream. Especially the Nigtmare Frontier, also, their clothes more closely matches the Royal Dress and the Doll is obviously based on Maria- A Vileblood Noble. Given their heads design, I think the Rotten Great One probably made this, that and the frenzy? Yeah, pretty safe to say. But why would he make this after the doll? I don’t even think he’d know about it, and probably was around when the Vilebloods were still alive. Final thing, WHAT the hell is the hunters dream? It’s obviously Moon Presence’s realm but it seems to be nowhere connected to the other nightmares. And I mean that in more ways than one, you can’t see it at all from the other nightmares, you can’t see the other nightmares from it. You can teleport across nightmare and waking world as you please, and you have IMMORTALITY. What!? I understand one of the most powerful gods made this, but that still doesn’t mean that Micolash could’ve respawned- I mean PATCHES CAN! At least in the Frontier. Sure, we may not be the “host of the nightmare” which could explain why Gehrman, Patches, Micolash, Lil’ Kos don’t respawn but it’s odd how a random hunter is not only alive, but can’t find their body in the waking world. I wish they stook with the chair’s for the dream. Would make this have a lot more sense, as your body is there and not lying on the floor for the nightmares.

Nowadays with Shadow i guess it's clearer that grafting has it's origins in the melding of shaman flesh and since Godrick is part shaman through Marika he retains the ability to meld his flesh harmoniously with others allowing him to graft, IMO what Godfrey did is not grafting but something separate entirely as it appears in the cutscene that Serosh has the ability to separate himself from Godfrey so he's more a regent, willingly there suppressing Godfrey's natural feral nature. Godrick like many other of the Shardbearers seems to have dwelved into pre-Golden Order lore to find the ancient practice of shaman grafting and then used it as his vehicle towards power, the same way other Shardbearers used other ancient arcane practices and influence of outer gods that Marika would've denounced. This is why the Tarnished were re-awakened i believe, Marika simply wasn't happy with any of the Shardbearers turning to the outer gods and ancient crucible practices in order to gain the Elden Ring. Either Marika reawakened the Tarnished or the Greater Will did it for her, as it seems Marika has an issue with the Golden Order and likely wouldn't want the Tarnished to restore it

Maliketh in his first phase looks like a Bear who's had his fur completely shaved off, and now roams the lands between looking like the human/beast hybrid abomination in every kid's nightmares

I don't think it is exactly a curse. It must seem that way to him but I think the reality of it is that Messmer is the living embodiment of Marika's resentment of the people of the shaow lands: her hatred made flesh. That the flesh seems to have different thoughts on the matter is immaterial. His purpose is to punish the shadow lands as that is what Marika wanted when making him.
