Hi, I have only just come across your videos and I love them. The measurements were for a 8x6 print, but would would the measurements be for an A4 and A3 print? Or will it be the same?

Did you wet the paper after the paint dried, and rub the paper off?

Really helpful. I’m also interested in trying acrylics: today! I’m assuming you finished the image w/ an acid free, acrylic fixer (?) Nice work!

Thank you Nitsa! I am surprised you only leave it a couple of minutes before peeling paper off; everywhere else I've heard to leave at least 24 hours...? 😊

Hello from So. Cal! Thank you so much for your fabulous video. I will try using transfer paper. I recently starting doing decoupage and would like to transfer a photo of my nephew on to wood. I have also heard about using AVERY peel off labels (not address labels) blank sheets. Print out on the paper you generally throw away and peel off top. Is that your preference?

That looks amazing girl!! However I watched one of your videos regarding printing images from an inkjet and Liquitex medium, and I don't know where I went wrong, but I went horribly wrong. I put a good amount of medium onto my wood, let it sit for 3 mins and gently started peeling, and ended up removing 90% of the entire graphic. Help! It was not as smooth and easy as you made it look.

Thank you for saying that you have no interest in swatching colours. Personally, I see NO entertainment in watching people spend 20 minutes swatching paints and another 10 minutes listening to them evaluate the colours. I'm sure there are folk who enjoy that, however, I suspect there are more views who think. "Oh, no, not another swatching session." It's depressing enough watching people unbox a small bin of paints, or a box of pastels. After all we KNOW how to take wrapping paper off. There are people on KZbin who can take 10 minutes of more doing it, whilst they talk about how there friend called round and what a great cup of coffee they had. And YES, there those who do just that, I've seen them. SIGH. Thank you Nitsa, thank you.❤🧡💙

You made me laugh so hard Gordon! 😂 That's exactly what I was thinking when I made the comment about not going to swatch or rate the supplies. Just like you I get so bored watching this type of videos. And I don't really get the unboxing videos, but I hear people enjoy them for some reason 🤷‍♀️ Thank you for so wittily pointing it out and making my day! 🌞🌷🥰

@@NitsaCreativeStudio Hi Nitsa. I was expecting my comment to be removed, or certain people start trolling me. I realised you were on the same wavelength as I. I REALLY dislike the "Hey, look! I opened a box that came today. I'd ordered a can of ant killer. Imagine my surprise and delight, when I peeled the parcel tape off and carefully folded back the box flaps There was a can of ant spay! inside! I was so happy that I called my fiend round and we danced in joy! (The long winter nights must simply fly by,. Dear oh dear.) Wicked, me? Nah! 👹👺

This was great - I really enjoyed listening, and learned a lot. I just started gel printing a couple months ago, and every time, i end up covered with paint, lol. you're printing with a very nice jumper on and i would just destroy it if i tried that. i guess that's something else that a lot of experience helps with!! luckily, i don't mind getting too messy if i can wash it off

About a year ago I saw a reel on Instagram where someone used their own photos and Gel printed with them. I was captivated. I am not arty at all but I really wanted to have a go. I started researching on line and came across your great you tube content. I bought your book The New Mixed Media photography book and invested in a second hand Brother Mono laser printer. I bought some Gel press Gel plates and some Crawford and Black acrylic paints and a few brayers. Unfortunately life has got in the way and it was only yesterday that I set a day aside to try it out. It didn’t work, well out of 15-20 tries I got one vague image of the black left on the gel plate. I used the laser printer, making the contrast as much as possible and used a black and white zebra picture but having inked the gel plate, put the ordinary paper Navigator 75 gm premium quality paper on, all except once when I peeled away there wasn’t anything left on the gel plate to allow to dry to then print with. I was so disappointed because everyone makes it look so easy on line. SO… I love your videos and and you are fun and engaging and I thought I would ask you as an expert for some help in case I’m doing something wrong before I leave it and give the stuff away. If you have any pearls of wisdom then I would appreciate it if you have the time to reply. If not then no worries.

Thank you for the tip my friend!🌷🌞🥰 Yes, using Golden open on the gel plate might work for me especially for building layers of textures since they are transparent. As you know, I usually prefer to use the gel plate for photo and text transfers, but I also create nice layered backgrounds every now and then 👍

Wondering...when you said you use this process to make cards. So, do you just use the same process and put the photo on a card or piece of water color paper or what I would normally use to make a card. I'd love to see you demonstrate how you make a card. Thank you. this was my first time seeing your video and I enjoyed watching and will return. Judith

I love your videos and explanations. You make it so simple and fun! I didn't understand something about the sheet you used to transfer the letters from (@7:17): is it a photocopy (like those made at a store) or a laser print? I know it's possible to make photocopies using some laser printers too, but I would like to know if commercially-made photocopies can be transferred using a gel plate. Thank you!
